I was wondering if anyone knows of an App that will let me have different sounds for specific notifications.
As I have gmail, facebook, skype, mms, texts and more, And I which I got when I get it.

I'm about 98% sure I've changed what color my LED light (the one that comes on when you're charging) was for notifications. But now I can't find an option or setting anywhere to do it... did they remove this feature with the 2.2 update or something?it may have been a setting that was in handcent but i'm not sure

I'm coming from a BB Curve where I got actual facebook message notifications when I had a new message or someone replied to a thread that I had commented in. Does Android not do that?

Missed call, On the storm I was able to purchase a 3rd party app that let me choose a different color for each item and adjust how frequent the light would blink and things like that.
Hi guys. I have checked all the low on space threads and i feel like mines is definitely an odd ball
When i click on the notification it sends me to my Manage Apps menu. The Manage Apps menu kind of freezes and all the apps show but the disk space says "computing..." and doesn't change
This is the current amount of space I have in my phone.
SD card - Total space = 7.42GB / Avail. space = 7.05gb
Internal phone storage - Total space = 6.6gb / Avail. space = 6.53gb
Phone memory - Total space = 748MB / Avail space = 696MB
I have tried clearing the internet cache and etc..still to no avail. the phone seems to be functioning fine except for the notification that bugs me.
I am only using the stock sense messaging app and I get two notifications for sms texts. Not sure what I am missing here.
View 4 Replies View RelatedStarting today I haven't been getting my usual HTC email notifications and when I open the HTC mail client the messages are there, but I get an error message that says, "Alert, There is not enough free space. Please delete some messages and try again." I'm also not able to send photos via the photo app by email. The message sends but not the attachment, only a 1 kb attachment which isn't the photo at all. My phone storage is virtually empty and I always keep my inboxes clear. I've had this phone since launch with no real problems until now. I did update adw.launcher, launcher pro, smooth calendar and alarm clock yesterday if that helps. I called Verizon and they told me to do a factory reset. This shouldn't be happening two months later on a perfectly running phone, should it? I trust everyone on this forum over the Verizon tech support every day of the week.

Basically i'm looking for a beep of some sort that notifies me of when i get a text when i'm on the phone. I've had that little bit or sound since 1998 when cell phones were getting heavy on the market and in the US, but for some reason, the droid does not notify me when i get a text while i'm on the phone. Is there an option i'm missing somewhere?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI noticed this morning that my alarm didn't make a sound when it went off this morning. Fortunately it was set to vibrate and I heard that. I than noticed it didn't ring when I received a call. I had my GF send me a txt and no sound with that either. When I go into setting to change my ringtone none of them play. The volume button beeps when I hit it and I other apps that play sounds are working fine.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe problem seems to happen more often since the 2.2 update. Custom ringtones for individuals, as well as default ringtone, change for no reason, as do notifications. I typically set my notification at zero volume plus vibrate, then the next day I'll hear a notification go off, and find in the settings that the checkbox for using the same volume for notifications as ringtones is checked again. So I have to uncheck it, and slide the notification volume back to zero. Is there some way to lock my settings?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe vibrate for my notifications keeps turning off by itself. I downloaded sound manager and using this app I can turn it back on, but a little while later it is already turned off again.
I'm thinking it must be an app turning it off, but I have gone through each one and can't for the life of me figure out what is causing this.
I did a hard reset after 2.2 and it went away for a few days but now its happening again.
I love my Incredible. One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to have my phone in vibrate and be able to know when I receive an SMS or email message. I was reading up on the Moto Droid and nexus one forums but the fixes they had (outside of just using an entirely different app for SMS) didn't seem to apply to the incredible. I set it to vibrate but it only seems to vibrate when it rings, not when it's set solely to vibrate.
So I ask, is it possible to receive a vibrate notification of an SMS or email when the phone is in vibrate mode? If I'm at a movie or something, I like knowing if I got a message.
If you place your finger on the top bar, for example on the time in the top right hand corner, a second bar will appear. Without lifting your finger, slide your finger down to open the box. To close it you can slide it up from the bottom or tap the dot in the middle of the bottom bar.

My issue is that I have other people who access the accounts as well (from desktop computers), and I need to be notified when they send emails. So what I can't find is how to get notifications of sent mails from my own accounts.I had this on my blackberry curve, where I would be notified of that.

I cant seem to figure this out, I want it to vibrate when I have vibrate mode on but I want sound only when I have it off of vibrate mode. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've done some googling, and found plenty of people with my issue, but mine can't seem to be resolved like everyone else's. I've been getting two notifications for every txt I get, one's icon is a Letter, the other's is a Smiley Face. I only use the built-in Messages application that came with the phone, its all I've ever used. If I go into Messages, and disable it from making any notifications, when I get a txt, a tone will still play and I still get the Smiley Face notification. Some people have linked this to Beautiful Widgets Pack 2, and I've seen numerous threads where people uninstall it, and it fixes the issue. I installed Beautiful Widgets Pack 2 last week, didn't like it, and uninstalled it. And yet I still have this issue! I even tried installing it again and then uninstalling it again, then rebooted, and it still pops up a notification with that Smiley Face!
