HTC Incredible :: Can't Get Into The App Store - Login Failure

Got the new incredible. Coming from a razr have to say, it's pretty incredible.
I'm having problems getting into the app store.
I have a google account, can log into google mail. Have confirmed on a PC I'm using the right user/pass. If I enter wrong the incred does say user/pass does not match.
When I enter correctly, no errors, just takes me to a quick setup then back to a log in.
Done it 20 times, no joy.
Even tried a new account, then hit with 'errors with google servers, try again later'

About 3 days ago I began receiving a "Login Failed" notification on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It appears to be in reference to my roadrunner email account, and when I open the notification it gives me a pop up screen saying the "server password has changed" and asking for the password. I had not changed my password, but it would not accept the password on the account. I searched and found that about a year ago this seemed to be a common problem. Most of the answers amounted to 'uninstall and reinstall your email', so I did. No luck. Then I uninstalled the email from my phone, went to the roadrunner account online, changed my password, then reinstalled the email account on my phone. That worked for about 12 hours and then I started receiving the notifications again. Currently I have just uninstalled email from my phone completely while I search for a solution.
Then yesterday my phone began taking random screen shots. So far it has taken 5 screen shots at random times. I realize we just celebrated Halloween but I didn't expect my phone to become possessed.

I am new to this forum. Love my new incredible, I am long time user of Win CE(Motorola Q) Oh my my Was I stone ages. What A difference.....am getting to know my new toy. One thing I can't figure out is where dose the pictures get store to.(The Actual Directory) I did download ASTRO(Great Tool) but still am unable to hunt the actual store directory that the pics gets store to. Dose anybody know where this is. I also need to find out once I connect my phone to the PC how to get it off of the phone to my PC and or server. once I connect to PC all I see is the SD card and there isn't much in there.

I managed to create the logic for the function but I have no idea how to match it with the database. I only know how to do it the hardcoding way.
Below is how I did it. I believe an sql statement should be inserted there am I right? And I know I missed out something. Before I match the username and password, I should check whether the user exist in the database first, and then check whether the password match with the username.
So in conclusion I need help on the 'if else' statement.

I've downloaded a few networking apps (games) that have you log in, then take you to a "home" type screen where you can change your settings, or start a new game, or view your buddies etc.My question is two-part:
1) how are these "multipanel" apps created? Is each panel its own activity? I've tried adding different panels through Views, but on the apps I described above, when I hit the back button on my phone, it takes me to the previous screen and in my apps, it just takes me out of the app when I hit back (again I'll I've done are add separate views). Can someone point me in the right direction of what I need to do to create a multipanel application that when I click a button, a new panel loads, then when I hit back on the phone, it takes me to the previous panel?
2) one of my panels will be a login page which I will post the log-in credentials via http post to my server for authentication. I would like to remember the log-in "token" that is passed back to the client so they don't have to log in every time they use my application. Again, referring to some of the apps that I have, they offer this feature but I can not locate anything on the phone where it would be saved. Is this done with xml usually?

New Incredible, setting up and downloading everything in sight on Thursday. Late last night (Friday) started having issues with mobile network and internet access while not on wi-fi. I have been using wifi predominantly so I think this issue was in the background but I didn't notice because I wasn't using 3g internet access. When I shut off wifi, I was getting access errors and, in my QuickSettings app, it said that there was no APN configured. The HTC settings app, under mobile network, simply said "turning on".
Searched around and discovered that this might be a problem with the app itself (QuickSettings) so I uninstalled it, did *22899 and rebooted. 3g problems went away but now I'm getting intermittent status bar messages that say "message not downloaded - generic network failure".
I am using Handcent and I *think* I'm getting all the messages I've been sent but how could I tell? I've been getting some, at least. I turned off the auto-retrieve for the HTC native messages app but I'm still getting the status message periodically. The phone will vibrate and notify like I've gotten a SMS but all I'm getting is the error message - about every 10 minutes.
From searching around it appears that this has been a thing with the Eris but the fact that it *was* working and now it's not is confusing to me. Is there a known conflict out there with an app combination that does this? I searched the forums and the google but I'm coming up empty.

Just got my incredible yesterday and I am very pleased. I've answered mosy my questions searching, but one thing I cannot solve. I am using handcent messaging which I like due to the "bubbles", but each time I try to send a picture, there is a failure message.

Periodically I change my passwords and yesterday after doing so, and updating my htc mail settings I cannot access my mail. I am getting an error saying authentication failed. It had worked perfectly fine then several hours later I got the message when I went to check my mail - actually the lack of. Because I had noticed gmail notifier updating my mail on my computer but nothing on my phone.
I read elsewhere to try it on just a 3g connection, or going to wifi, neither worked. I have deleted the account, and tried setting it up from scratch to no avail. The gmail stock app works, I just like the mail widget from htc.

My MMS txts are not working when I send them but I can receive them just fine. It doesn't even give a failure notice, they send off my phone just fine, the the other person never receives them. They used to send just fine, this just started a few days ago.
I use Hand Cent as my default messenger, but I've tried sending them from both applications and neither of them are working.....any ideas?

The gmail on my HTC Incredible phone had been working perfectly for 4 months on Verizon, but recently the Gmail has basically stopped working. All it says is "login failed" whenever I try to refresh. I deleted the accounts and tried to re-add them, but now it still says "login failed." It seemed to be working when it was only connected to the WIFI, but now that's not working either. I can log in without a problem to my internet based gmail?

Does anyone else use Gdocs with Inc? Loaded the app, get the log in screen but then get "Login Failed! Do you want to save this account?" Is this problem limited to the Inc because I never had a problem with my Moto Droid and Eris. I also get the 3 options..... "Use Secure Server, This is the Google Apps account and Use this account as default". I tried multiple combinations of checking and unchecking these items with no luck.

Anytime i try and send an MMS through handcent i get "generic message failure" in the status bar. If i try to send through the native app i get nothing. just acts like it sent. i can receive mms from people on ATT/Verizon just can't send. I did a factory reset just to see if any apps were interfering with it and still have the same problem.

I can't find the Amazon MP3 store anywhere. Not in Market or by searching. Wondering if Big Red didn't want it on there to make us buy tunes from their own store. My girlfriends Moto Droid came preloaded with it though and I really liked the interface. Anybody know where I can download this from?

So I downloaded GV (Google Voice Dialer) and it always says "login failed." I know the app is no longer official supported but wondered if anyone else had this issue or if they could successfully log on. Kind of sucks because it looks like this is the only app that will route through Google Voice (without adds or dialing your GV number then PIN then #2 before making a call) unlike Flex Dialer.

So I ordered an Incredible in-store last Sunday. And I just got a call from the other Verizon store today, saying they had a couple Incredibles already in stock. I tried to call the store, see when it'll be in, and they're saying 2 weeks ish, which is probably an underestimate. Needless to say, I want to get the phone that's in the other store now, and get rid of the old order. So then I asked if I could cancel it, and they said that they couldn't cancel it because it was "In Transit" or whatever the hell. They said that if I wanted to get my money back, I'd have to wait 'till I got the phone from FedEx, and then bring it in and return it. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was any way for me to cancel the order.

I've seen several people make mention of missing apps in the app store in various other threads (someone mentioned PayPal for instance). These are all people who got the phone early.In another post I found the following regarding using the apk to install Google Earth. So this could an alternative if you are not able to find a certain app in the market. Doing this is dependant on the apk being available for the particular app you wish to install (dependant on the maker of the application making the apk available for download):

How or where should I store mp3 files that I want to use as ringtones, but don't necessarily want in my music library? I know you use the Music app to set a ringtone, but it only shows the files in the MP3 folder... I added a "Ringtones" folder, but I guess it's not reading it...

My lame company forces me to password protect my Incredible, thereby causing me much delay having to enter a password every time I turn the thing on. This is for corporate email through Activesync.
Is there ANY way to disable this? Or some hack that will at least "remember" the password so I just need to hit Enter, or something, after unlocking the phone with a swiped?

Just in case anyone wants to try this / if it has happened to anyone else. I didn't have a pre order for the Incredible but when I went in to exchange my current 10 day old phone for one the manager went to transfer the contacts over and apparently their machine cannot transfer anything to the internal Incredible memory. I received a free 2gb memory card to make up for it ($24.99 savings woot).

I have the frankenrom b6. Been happy with it ever since I got it and havent felt to need to change from the ROM. I know there is an update coming out tomorrow with some Verizon bloatware. I don't really care about the other stuff but the Vcast app store because I want to see if they offer any decent apps that aren't on the Android Market place. Is there a way to get it without changing ROM, unrooting or changing radio?

Tonight I was setting another album to offline in Spotify when it reported I ccouldn't save any more music. Bit puzzled seeing as i've got a 16gb SD card in there. Turns out Spotify is only using the internal SD card :S totally burnt out my 8gb already! I see no option in Spotify to select where to place the offline store, anyone else in the ssame 8gb boat?

I bought both, one for me and one for the wife.She hasn't seen hers yet, she's out of town, but coming from an original Blackberry Storm, this thing is sick!
