I've searched around and so far I've only found apps that reject (forward to voicemail) calls from a particular list. What I am looking for is a way to reject a call from he lockscreen or incoming call screen.
Is there a setting I am missing or is this something that needs to be done with an apparently?

I like to add numbers to a reject list, and never deal with those numbers again. Anyone know if its available on the Epic, or if there's an app that will accomplish this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedStill waiting on my DINC while using my WM TP2. I have one well two feathers I like to have on my DINC. I am tech support and get calls all the time: 1. On my TP2 when on a call and a new incoming call comes in I can reject that call with a 'send txt' button and it send the caller a text I pre-created to let them know I am busy. Is it possible to do this on the DINC? 2. There is a free app my TP2 uses to record all calls automatically and it helps me because I cannot not write many times when I am driving or running network in a ceiling so the ability to playback a saved call is huge. Is there a app out there anyone use to record calls on the DINC? (pls do not concern me about the legal side this is for me and me only and there are apps that can do it which I am doing now)..

I have an HTC Evo that hangs up on everyone that calls me.I keep the phone in my pocket and, in trying to pull it out to answer a call, my leg slides the bar.I could keep the phone in my pocket upside down and then I would answer every call but that isn't much of an alternative.I am looking for something that overrides the Sense's lockscreen/answer screen.I tried both GoTo and WidgetLocker.Both are great programs but neither addresses the incoming call issue.

I mute, sometimes end calls, start 3 way calls etc and I have no idea how to prevent it. Is there any way I can make the screen lock during phone calls or change the call screen altogether?

However, with the new 2.1, just about anywhere on the screen becomes active (especially when juggling two simultaneous calls). What are the chances that we'll see a 'lock screen' function for phone calls? Those of us who actually use the phone for phone calls whilst holding it would surely appreciate it. Other android devices have had this for years.

I just find it annoying when I've been talking for a few seconds or minutes, then take the phone away from my head, having to wake up the screen by swiping my thumb across the light sensor, set the unlock pattern, hit the home button to leave the dialer app, find the app I need to look something up in while talking, etc. And sometimes it doesn't go to lock at all! But usually, during a call, it seems like only a few seconds.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAnytime I get in a call and hold the phone to my ear with my should, I start hitting buttons like Mute, Add Call, End Call, etc. I've already been through 3 replacement devices, and all 3 have the issue.
I learned last night (after fighting with a tech at version for 2 hours) that the issue is really just a design flaw by Motorola. If you make an out going call, and then cover the light sensor with your hand (while the phone is vertical), all works great. If you keep the sensor covered and start laying the phone on it's back, eventually the screen will unlock. Doesn't happen every time, only about 80% of the time.
Needless to say, Verzion told me that because that's how Motorola designed it I'm stuck having to deal with it. So now I'm trying to find an app that can lock my screen while I'm in a call. I have bought Screen Suite but it really does way too much for me (plus, I hate the lock screen on it). I much prefer the default lock screen.
Does an app exist that can launch the stock lock screen while in a call? If not does anyone know if the SDK even provides the means to launch the lock screen? Because if so I may have to resort to writing my own app for it.

However, when I finish the phone call or take the phone away from my ear... I get the lock screen. Why? Why doesn't the screen just go back on to whatever screen was on before the phone call... like the dial pad. To hang up a phone call, I have to unlock the screen first.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI did quite a bit of searching the web for a solution to my problem with the HTC Incredible. Surely I cannot be the only one with the problem? I answer a call, I'm holding it talking, and the screen turns on then turns off, turns on, then turns off, speaker phone on, I have to click it off, mute on, I have to press it off. etc, I know its just the heat from my cheek from talking, but it goes right through the lock button. What is the point of locking the phone if on a call so this stuff wont happen when your touch (my cheek in this case) just goes right through the lock. I have tried in vain to find an app that could fix this perhaps, but most are just for answering the call or dialing a call, or something to that effect. Any info on how to keep the phone locked when I press the lock button would be appreciated. I love the phone but I am using another phone to make calls because I cant use the Incredible to talk. I don't feel I should have to keep turning off the mute or speaker phone or locking the phone to turn the screen off every two or three seconds.
