There is no possible way to get rid of that dumb slide? Half the time I try it doesn't slide all the way and I have to try again. Sometimes it takes me 3 attempts. I wish u could just press the home key twice like I did on the htc dream. Even rooted xperias still have slide unlock?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having an intermittent problem where callers can't hear me for 6-10 seconds when they call. This is a t best embarrassing and frequently they hang up. As I say the problem is intermittent - sometimes the phone answers as usual. Interestingly, I can hear them talking (and usually saying 'hello? hello?) but they can't hear me and I just keep saying hello until they hang up or until the sound kicks in and we can converse.
I did a factory reset with no improvement, and have also downloaded the PC updater and updated the system with no improvement. Then, I spoke to a friend the other night who described an identical problem with his X10.
I have downloaded some app from android market called Screen lock or something so I could unlock my phone like on iPhone. I set up my code and it was working fine. But someone was trying to unlock it and put some wrong codes, so the Screen is now lock when I put right code still nothing nappens, the screen is lock. Can not do nothing now? can I? When someone is calling me I can not pick up the phone can not see the messages. What should I do? How do I delete Screen Lock app?

Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen auto lock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this. Reason is that when I unlock it again, I am at the previous screen, I have then to cancel screens to go back to my home page to start again, this is a pain.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought this phone from Rogers (I still have a week to test this thing out to make sure it's not broken) I'm noticing that answering incoming calls can sometimes take up to 20 seconds before the other side can hear me! I can make calls and people can hear me as soon as the call begins but I'm answering the phone after it has shut itself down (I mean the screen goes dark and then I need to slide the slider on the screen to answer the call) SOMETIMES there will be a few seconds delay, sometimes nothing but I've had up to 20 seconds delay on multiple occasions I'm running 1.6, and from the sounds of it, we won't get 2.1 until next month but is ANYONE else getting these issues? Should I return this phone for another? This is inexcusable and I am having too many callers hang up the phone on me because they think they have a bad connection but in reality there is a delay before they can hear me.

Her exact words to me today were: "I need to know how to shut the screen off on my xperia x10 during a call sometimes it shuts off, sometimes it doesn't...when it doesn't, it causes me to perform a TON of unwanted tasks like adding a contact, changing the wallpaper, etc. when it hits my cheek."
I have noticed that over the last 2 months that when I'm in a call It is not allowing me to use the touchscreen for anything including ending the call. At first i wasn't too fussed about this as i could just use the power button to end the call but it is extremely annoying when it comes to getting numbers or when you need to press numbers to get through the menus when getting hold of companies etc.

Basically, the story goes as follows...normally when I receive a call I have to do that swipe thing to accept the call, however, at very random times instead of the swipe I get the option of pressing 'Accept Call' or 'Decline Call' which are displayed on the lower part of the screen side-by-side. Now, to be perfectly honest I actually prefer the latter option but do not know why it is so random. To be clear, I have never updated my phone since I got it and I have searched the settings but not been able to locate anything which would explain this.
