I pre ordered the Incredible through Best Buy the other day.I asked them about Verizon's online discount of $100 and another $100 off with new every two discount.The sales rep did not know about the deal but said they would price match whatever Verizon had on their site.I'm hoping they will match it, the guy seemed really nice.Anyone else run into this?

Did anyone else go to the initial Droiddoes website and sign up? Didn't it say Verizon was going to have a "special offer"?? urious if anyone else seen this and if so, does anyone know what the offer is??
View 4 Replies View RelatedThere's a few cases on the Verizon website for the incredible that weren't there yesterday when i pre-ordered. a clear snap on hard case, a high gloss silicone case in red or black a body glove case and a shell/holster case. the snap on one and shell one are the only ones "in stock." also have some privacy screen protectors.i think ill wait until i it comes out officially, hopefully there will be more options.

Is there any way I can get either the Verizon Wireless Store or Best Buy to match that price? I have it pre-ordered at Best Buy but I can cancel it if need be.I'd really like to have the phone tomorrow on launch day, but paying 199.99 instead of 149.99 is pretty silly.

They told me that the $269.99 was a special on line price and I told them it was a system-wide price.Who's right and is this normal and I just didn't know it or are they trying to rip off an old man?

Everything worked just fine on the site, though I was a little intrigued by the presence of some loading animations because I haven't (to my knowledge!) done the required degrees of hacking to get Flash working. I thought that was part of Froyo only, and that 2.1 couldn't play Flash.
Imagine my shock when said website was revealed, when I got home, to be flash-based. What the heck happened here?
My phone is rooted and running a Hydra kernel underneath the stock ROM, confirmed by checking my About Phone just now. I definitely haven't installed any app that I'm aware of that would explicitly enable Flash. So how did I do what I did?

I click on "e-mail", I type in my e-mail address and my password, and then I click "next". And then I get a message that says my username and/or password does not match. But I am positive it does, as I have gone online to test it. I have tried retyping my username and passwrod over and over again without any success. I can't get passed that screen.
I have Verizon FiOS at my house, so my e-mail is set-up through Verizon/Yahoo.
Well it appears that Yahoo! is now offering video chat support for the HTC EVO.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having a problem with their browser hanging to load a website and then the only thing that corrects it is restarting the phone? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?
