Does anyone know how to set the Incredible to auto capitalize the first word of every sentence. In particular when you are using the voice to text feature, it does not capitalize anything. There are no settings for this in the Language settings on the phone. I can't find how to do this anywhere. This automatically works on my Motorola Droid but not on the Incredible.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI sometimes use a USB or Bluetooth keyboard with my Nexus 7 2013 tablet or a Nexus 5 phone, for extended note taking. I see options in the language and keyboard settings when I connect a physical keyboard, for auto-replace, auto-capitalization, and auto-punctuation. However, they appear to have no effect with either of my devices or either of my keyboards. Are these settings broken in KitKat 4.4.2?

View 4 Replies View Relatedi am running captjager 1.6.2 and everything has been running swimmingly up til now. it is set to auto syn every two hours, when it starts to sync and the little loop icon appears in the notification bar it just hangs there....forever or until i cancel sync and resync manually then it will finish the sync. is there a fix for this that anyone knows of? if not i will be switching back to stock, this has become annoying and probably is killing my battery.

1. Switch off and on
2. Switch off and removed battery, SIM, memory card (8GB)
3. Two time complete reset including memory card.
I'm having problems with my auto rotate. I use launcher pro, and have the homescreens set to not rotate. This always left my apps (handcent, gmail, etc) free to rotate within the app or popup now I only get one or the other if auto rotate is on, apps are stuck in landscape, and vice versa Ive deleted LP and started over, gone into recovery and wiped cache, battery pull running out of ideas?

I'm loving the Android.I have to say that after 5 days of owning this device I'm only left scratching my head on one point the auto-orientation of the home screen.I've seen videos of rooted G1's running the hacked 1.5 firmware and the recently posted video of the Samsung i7500 with the 1.5 firmware all CLEARLY show that when the device is on home screen, the desktop (read home screen) auto-rotates depending on the orientation of the device. The Samsung video shows it working in ALL FOUR orientations!This doesn't happen on my Magic . Flip the orientation in an application? Works fine. Flip it back in an application? Works fine. Do it on the home screen?Am I missing something? Is this a feature that is disabled in the offical 1.5 Cupcake release? If that's the case - fine with me. I'll stop scratching my head and move on.

I have My location enabled, I have it reading off 3G towers instead of GPS, and I have the Weatherbug locator app. Also it is tracking me in the background. Nothing. I have 'My Location' as the default, but it doesn't change.
Only time that it updates is if I enable GPS following, then it gets it perfectly. Otherwise no dice.
Anyone have this problem as well?
I can not auto update my apps. It tells me is "started downloading" and that is it. It will not actually download the update and just stays like that forever and inturn will suck the battery. If i stop the update and just manually update the app it will download and install just fine. It is kinda weird that it will not download automatically. It even tells me it found updates. I have bb froyo.

I've also been having a lot of issues with the headphone jack, what should I do? btw, my insurance on my phone is protectcell. Do you think they would consider upgrading me to a Droid 2 or a better phone? (my phones rooted, I changed roms to see if that was the issue, but the problem still occurs)

Needs verizon's 3g hotspot working. Doesn't need sense. What rom do I need, and what are the steps to getting this done? If it's always recommended to do a full backup, wipe, and restore, then bleh.

I am having an issue with Yahoo Mail app on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 running 4.4.
Initially when I was using the Yahoo Mail App on my 12.2 with contacts synced. I was able to successfully use the autofill in the "To" bar. But for some unknown reason autofill no longer works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled YM app a few times and there is no change. I have alse cleared cache on Contacts with no dice either.
Sometimes after working with Clockwork and doing some Nandroid backups/restores I find pictures and movies missing from my SD card.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my wifi no longer connects to my home network automatically. I need to go in to the wireless settings then in to the wifi settings menu itself, where I'll see my network "Not in range-remembered" for a second and then it'll connect itself. It wasn't like this a few days ago, and I don't think this happens at the 2 other wireless networks I frequent, I'll try and remember to check tomorrow when I drop off my son at the in-laws.
I deleted the network and added it back in, still no auto connect. I rebooted the phone and it connected once, then after I turned off wifi and turned it back on, it went back to needing a manual connect, which it really isn't even that. It just doesnt want to connect unless I go in to the wifi settings.
3rd time this has happened a mp3 auto starts and it is the same mp3, The Police, "message in a bottle". The only way i could stop it from playing was to "unmount" my SD card. I have not played any mp3's on this phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to install a new rom, and make it a nice clean fresh install. I wipe the cache, I flash the rom. As soon as I log in with my gmail account during setup, the phone downloads all the apps I had and the wall paper and a bunch of other stuff.
I do not want it to do this. I really really want to restore what I want when I want. Thats why I bought Titanium Backup. Does anyone have any ideas on:
1. Why this happens,
2. How to make it stop?
So I just got my phone two days ago and I have auto brightness set which works well. What I do notice though, and it might just be in my head because I read the issues with the pink hue on the screens, is the following.When using the phone normally it looks great, the screen looks really nice. When you place the phone down and have the screen timeout set (I have mine set to one minute) a few seconds before it goes to sleep mode it dims the screen, and if I'm on my main home screen it looks fine, however, if I'm on a page where there is a lot of white like a white background, it seems as though the screen takes on a weird hue right before it shuts off. I wouldn't say it is a pink hue, but it is definitely a weird hue. It isn't that big of a deal because like I said, it only happens before the screen automatically times out. Anyone else experiencing this? If so, what are your settings (screen timeout time, is auto brightness on or off)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedA while back I was looking through either the stock messaging app or Handcent and saw an option to auto reply to text messages, and you could change the text to make it say whatever you needed it to say. Today I tried looking for that option again and didn't find anything. I searched on the forum but only found other apps that I would need to install in order to do this. Hopefully someone knows what option I am talking about or uses it. If not, I can always use Tasker to do this, but prefer to use the messaging apps.Edit: So I found the answer about 30 seconds after posting this.
