Has anyone been able to tag people in photos for facebook upload. Had a funny picture of a friend throwing up after a long night of drinking and wanted to tag him in it for a good laugh but had to log on to my PC to do so!

I'm having some issues with the facebook app (native). I can't seem to upload photos, I don't get an error message or anything just photo cannot be uploaded.
I've been having problems with the native app, therefore I downloaded BLOO. I just don't like the idea of having 2 different FB apps to do everything I want to do :- would love any advice.
I've tried having wifi off and on and neither made a difference, and I've restarted the phone
I know how to upload single photos but I can't figure out how to upload multiple ones to facebook. If I select multiple photos and choose share. I only get the option to use Gmail/SMS/picasa/bluetooth.

Until three days ago uploading photos using the share option when viewing the photo worked fine. Now however when I attempt to upload a photo I get an error message saying an error has occurred when uploading the photo and the browser then shuts. I have all of my contacts linked to their respective facebook accounts, but the pictures that show up when I go to my People never update with the facebook pictures, they have stayed the same since the day I linked the two regardless of how many times the person has changed their default picture since then. Is there any way for me to change this so the pictures in my People update with facebook? Since they are linked I assume they should be able to do this.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI've had my HTC Hero for a couple of months and finally think I've got to grips with the majority of its features. One of the things I really liked when I originally set it up was the fact that my contacts in People would sync up with anyone it recognised as having a facebook account and therefore provided their profile picture and birthday info etc. However, a couple of weeks ago all these pictures suddenly disappeared and I've no idea why - I can still get onto facebook fine and my contacts all seem as they were except they're all pictureless and it's really starting to annoy me. Has anyone else experienced this or is there any setting I'm missing or something I've done wrong??
On a completely unrelated note (although I may well post this seperately), I've recenly downloaded Handcent SMS from the market as I'd read that this was a good alternative to the original messaging application, but I don't know how to set this as my default SMS app and to get rid of the original off my home screen.
Is there something special I need to do in order to upload video to facebook? I keep trying and it won't do it. On my moment I had an app, but I can't remember the name! Please help! I have looked through the threads and I am sure there is no thread cause everyone else knows how to do this and I'm an idiot.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHad the g2 touch / hero for a few days now and love it but today I have a problem with contacts being duplicated in the people app. All of my contacts are stored in Gmail and there are no dupes but today all of my contacts with a facebook profile are showing twice. Also, and I don't know if this is related, the people app no longer shows any albums for facebook contacts although they are there if I access them through the albums app.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI have to say that this default Application is truly simple and easy to deal with, and that makes it all the more significant in my view. However, I am running into an odd problem, and I would like to see if anyone has had the same experience, and/or could offer their assistance in this matter.
I have linked all of my contacts to their FB profiles, and all seems to work extremely well. However, for reasons beyond my understanding, when I attempt to click on the "Album" icon (To view the photographs of a FB Friend), this App. always makes me go through a "Force Close". This ONLY happens with ONE of my contacts though, as with every other contact I still retain the ability to view their FB Photo Albums. I was thinking that the one contact in question here, possibly has too many photographs for this App. to handle(?), but I can get it to work on a very rare occasion despite such.
I would really like to hear from folks in regard to this issue, because it's puzzling, and somewhat irritating.
I have rebooted, and I have also taken the particular FB profile off of my contact list, and then re-applied it (All to no avail).

View 8 Replies View RelatedI can't access my Facebook photos using the HTC Album app or any other HTC app like contacts, but I can access all photos of my friends (except for one friend). I've played around with the settings on Facebook, but I don't know if I'm missing anything. I've also been able to access all of my photos and all of photos of my friends (including the one mentioned above) using the BFF Photo app for Android.I can access all my photos from Flickr just fine, and I can upload pictures to Facebook just fine using Facebook for Android, but I just can't view MY photos using any HTC app. I can also update my status just fine using the HTC Facebook app. Any ideas on things I should check?
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor most Google Contacts, once linked to a facebook account, properly display the photo as the contact photo. There are a few though that oddly don't. I can see their picture on facebook itself, it just doesn't get pulled into the Contact. I've inquired to these individuals and they don't seem to be using any particular privacy setting that would affect this.

However, I accidentally removed my facebook account which reset them all. As it had synced with Google already, I just resynced the links back to my phone, no problems.However, now all the photos have disappeared and short of unlinking and relinking anyone (which will take a long time...), is there a quicker way to refresh their photos?

I want to select a custom photo from my phone to use as a contact's picture, but no matter what I do, it always defaults back to their Facebook photo.
How do I fix this? It's terribly annoying that I can't keep the photo set for longer than two minutes.
