View 9 RepliesHas anyone been able to tag people in photos for facebook upload. Had a funny picture of a friend throwing up after a long night of drinking and wanted to tag him in it for a good laugh but had to log on to my PC to do so!
View 2 Replies View RelatedThere is no way to do this? Do I have to put them on my PC, convert them, and then upload? That's just silly. There has to be a way...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI apologize if this was already addressed. I received the 2.2 update last week and liked everything so far. This morning i snapped an image of 42nd St-Time Square and I tried to upload to facebook. To my surprise, the option to unload directly to fb is NOT there...WTH? I did notice that the fb app for android has a little camera icon to take a picture.
View 2 Replies View RelatedApologies if there is a thread about this already (couldn't find it)... I used to be able to upload a mobile pic directly to Facebook and it would show on my wall/in my friends' feeds. Lately, my pics go directly to my "Mobile Pics" album, and do not show on my wall unless I publish the entire album again. I've checked my Facebook settings, and everything is set to 'Publish Content to my Wall", but my mobile pics continue to get uploaded directly to the album and do not publish. Anyone else having trouble with this? I'm not sure if it's a problem with the phone, the FB app, or my Facebook settings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how to unclog stalled uploads to Facebook? I've tried to upload vacation photos but they don't get through + remain somewhere between the cloud + my T-Mobile MyTouch phone. I've tried clearing the cache as well as logging off + relogging. Nothing seems to work. Any advice?

I'm having some issues with the facebook app (native). I can't seem to upload photos, I don't get an error message or anything just photo cannot be uploaded.
I've been having problems with the native app, therefore I downloaded BLOO. I just don't like the idea of having 2 different FB apps to do everything I want to do :- would love any advice.
I've tried having wifi off and on and neither made a difference, and I've restarted the phone
I know how to upload single photos but I can't figure out how to upload multiple ones to facebook. If I select multiple photos and choose share. I only get the option to use Gmail/SMS/picasa/bluetooth.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently encountered a problem uploading photos to Facebook from my x10. Until three days ago uploading photos using the share option when viewing the photo worked fine. Now however when I attempt to upload a photo I get an error message saying an error has occurred when uploading the photo and the browser then shuts. Has anyone experienced the same problem and able to offer a solution?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm just curious if it's possible to upload pictures on my phone directly to Facebook or Myspace? My brother has a Hero and his whole contact list is synced up with facebook. Is there an app that I need or is this just not a feature available on this phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedCan't upload photos to Facebook using Chrome (updated, v31.0.1650.59) on Android 4.4 - Nexus 4.
It says: Your browser is not compatible with direct photo upload (image below). WTF?
[URL] .....
Now I have the option to upload. Quick Office file browser, and still gives me an error.
Is this possible? When you add facebook it replaces all contact photos and I don't see a way to change that.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI thought that if we sync'd facebook to the Hero that people's display pictures would automatically become their contact photo on the hero.can someone tell me if this is possible and how they've done it?
View 16 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to save the photos from Facebook albums when you are browsing through your contacts that are linked to it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't access my Facebook photos using the HTC Album app or any other HTC app like contacts, but I can access all photos of my friends (except for one friend). I've played around with the settings on Facebook, but I don't know if I'm missing anything. I've also been able to access all of my photos and all of photos of my friends (including the one mentioned above) using the BFF Photo app for Android.I can access all my photos from Flickr just fine, and I can upload pictures to Facebook just fine using Facebook for Android, but I just can't view MY photos using any HTC app. I can also update my status just fine using the HTC Facebook app. Any ideas on things I should check?
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor most Google Contacts, once linked to a facebook account, properly display the photo as the contact photo. There are a few though that oddly don't. I can see their picture on facebook itself, it just doesn't get pulled into the Contact. I've inquired to these individuals and they don't seem to be using any particular privacy setting that would affect this.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to do this via the "full site" but since the 2.1 update, I haven't been able to do so. Please help, because I really liked that I was able to do that from my Hero.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI spent an hour linking all my mates to their facebook profiles partly so I could have pictures associated with them. However, I accidentally removed my facebook account which reset them all. As it had synced with Google already, I just resynced the links back to my phone, no problems. However, now all the photos have disappeared and short of unlinking and relinking anyone (which will take a long time...), is there a quicker way to refresh their photos?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHas anyone figured out this problem with facebook not linking photos with contacts? This is annoying...thought this was supposed to be an update not a downgrade
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble with Facebook contacts ever since the 2.1 update.
I want to select a custom photo from my phone to use as a contact's picture, but no matter what I do, it always defaults back to their Facebook photo.
How do I fix this? It's terribly annoying that I can't keep the photo set for longer than two minutes.
As part of my Android app, I'd like to upload bitmaps to be remotely stored. I have simple HTTP GET and POST communication working perfectly, but documentation on how to do a multipart POST seems to be as rare as unicorns.
Furthermore, I'd like to transmit the image directly from memory, instead of working with a file. In the example code below, I'm getting a byte array from a file to be used later on with HttpClient and MultipartEntity.
CODE:..............
This all seems fairly clear to me, except that I can't for the life of me find out where to get this ByteArrayPartSource. I have linked to the httpclient and httpmime JAR files, but no dice. I hear that the package structure changed drastically between HttpClient 3.x and 4.x.
Is anyone using this ByteArrayPartSource in Android, and how did they import it?
After digging around in the documentation and scouring the Internet, I came up with something that fit my needs. To make a multipart request such as a form POST, the following code did the trick for me:
CODE:.....
The HTTPMultipartMode.BROWSER_COMPATIBLE bit is very important.
I'm doing some research to build an iOS and Android app using titanium appcelerator. The only requirement I have not being able to confirm is the possibility to upload a photo directly to Amazon S3 in a way that is compatible with iOS and Android devices.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs anyone getting the same problem as me when trying to upload photos taken with the camera to Google Photos, directly (from Photo->Menu->Share->Picasa). Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have to say that I don't find Android's photo management intuitive. Having got to the bottom of how to set up folders for photos, what would be very useful would be to be able to choose which folder photos get put in as they are taken, rather than having to tinker about with a file management program later on (none of which seem to use thumbnails anyway). Am I right in thinking that there is no way to choose a folder from the inbuilt camera? Is there any other camera app that would let me do this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a GPE LG Pad 8.3 and I have not seen an option in the stock camera app to save photos and video to the SD card. Is there any camera app that can write photos and videos to the SD card? It seems like a waste of an SD card if I can't have my photo's and videos go directly to the card.
