I got my HTC Hero yesterday and I'm extremely happy with it but I am unable to log into Android Market. When signing in to my Google account I get an error message that says something along the lines of "There is a temporary error or your sin card is not provisioned for data services".Has anyone else had this?

I have the Modaco latest ROM. Its been perfectly fine since I installed it over a month ago, but recently my memory card corrupted and now I cannot download any apps off the market.I had an ext2 partition, so I reformatted my memory stick the exact same way it was before it corrupted. Even so, whenever I try to download items from the market they just get stuck on "Starting Download".I literally cannot download ANY apps
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just set up my phone for the first time using the AT&T network for the HTC Hero. Under the All applications section, there is no market on there. Do I have to specially add it or something? Also, I would like to use IM meaning go on AIM with my phone without using the internet or installing the AIM application but it's not there either. Under the Manage my applications the IM application is there but not the market application. My main priority is being able to access the app store. Any ways to resolve this? I am running android 1.5. Any way to upgrade the firmware too?

I have downloaded apps from the Android Market, but last night and today, my phone will get into a state where I will select an app to download, it will tell me to watch the notification bar for download status, and nothing will happen. If I select the app in the store to look at the download progress, it just says: "downloading...." with the animated bar, but never downloads. I tried turning off the phone and turning it back on, and that seemed to correct the problem for one download, but then subsequent downloads won't start up. I have barely installed any apps on it, and I'm not really sure what the problem is. Is this a known issue with the Android Market, or do I have something wrong with my phone? Has anyone else encountered this and know why it's happening?

When this happened, it reverted my market back to how it was pre the newer market update.

1- Android market do not work. When I run android market nothing appeared.

3- Is it any way for updating facebook status faster? Is there any facebook widget?
Has anyone noticed that when you do a search for a specific app it will say "X amount" results for "(whatever you searched for)" sometimes it wont load the number of apps it found for what I searched for. I have to perform another search for something else and try it again before it will display the apps results.

Im under the assumption that there are stored on Google contacts but now my problem is when i log onto google with my phone it lets me access my account but when i try to log into the market to download stuff it says my sim car is either no right or i need to contact customer service.
