Android : Sports - Fitness Apps With News And Scores / ESPN - CBS Sports Have Droid App?
Dec 24, 2009I currently have SportsTap. I like it so far but I do which their wasn't a limit of 7 teams to follow. Is their any other good Sports Apps with news and scores? Does ESPN or CBS Sports have an android app out yet?
I'm also looking for a good workout app. Something that can be like a personal trainer to me in setting up workout routines and tracks my progress.
Sprint HTC Hero :: Best Sports App - Instinct
Nov 10, 2009For those of you who had an Instinct, there was a sports tab where you could make a category called "My Teams" and then in there put all the teams you follow. Then you select a team and see their entire schedule, previous scores and game data/stats.
Whats the equivilent to that on the Hero?

May 11, 2010I have noticed sports apps are lacking. ESPN, SI and Fox Sports all have apps but none of them are available on Android. I also saw a new one advertised tonight during the Lakers game called SportsNow, I checked their website and it is only for iphone. I do have Live scores installed and it is pretty good but I want more choices.

Jun 15, 2010I don't have an Evo yet because worst buy decided to fuck me on my pre-order, so i wanted to know if the Evo has a Sprint football app. I'm pretty sure they lost the rights to Verizon for the official NFL Live app but did Sprint replace that with there own. I'm a Football fiend if you cant tell. From what I read you weren't able to watch live games even from the official NFL app, just live audio. But I also wanted to know if there was a way to watch live games on the Evo? Again I'm damn fiend. I don't think my TV has even been turned to anyother channel than the NFL Network or ESPN, Guess I'll throw this question in here too. What is the best sports app in your opinion for Android? I still have an iphone (damn you worst buy) and Sportacular is by far the best in my opinion.

May 12, 2010I'm looking for two particular apps. The most important one is a podcast app where I can subscribe to an RSS feed and have it automatically download the last 10 or so podcasts that get released each day (or at least have this as a configurable option). I listen to a sports radio station every morning and I have been downloading the podcasts with iTunes for the time being and putting them on to my iPod but there has to be an app for Android that can download podcasts, right? I've got BeyondPod right now and it seems a bit clunky. I've heard good things about PodCatcher but since its a paid app, I haven't taken the dive yet. Would prefer a free one obviously but if paid is the only way to go, I'll drop the $5-$10 or whatever it is for PodCatcher. Any recommendations?Also, where are the apps for viewing sports scores. Does ESPN not have an app? They've got an iPhone app. They better jump on the Android bandwagon because we ain't going anywhere. Does anyone recommend an app for quick views of sports scores and even better, stream sports highlights. Basically, an all around sports app would be sweet!

Dec 27, 2009My mother-in-law has the best application on her Pre - it's an app that downloads pro sports team schedules to the calendar allowing for notification of upcoming games. I have searched all through the market place and haven't been able to find anything similar other than Sports Tap widget. Has anyone seen anything like this? If not, somebody should develop this. I would think it would be pretty popular.

Dec 6, 2009I just got a Motorola Droid, used to have a blackberry. I work retail and am in my store for 2 hours before i open in the morning. I used I Heart Radio to listen to Fox Sports, Steve Czaben and then some of Dan PAtrick show.Since I Heart Radio isn't on Droid yet, at least i cant find it and Ive looked and tried every radio app and cannot find one that has Fox at all. HTC Incredible :: CBS Fantasy Football Through App?
Jun 3, 2010This is not really Incredible related, but since I just got one I figured maybe this app would work. Is anybody having issues logging into their CBS Fantasy Football through the app? I login in, and when I hit submit it brings me right back to the login screen. It's really frustrating. Has anyone found a work around for this or is this just some glitch that CBS needs to fix?
