Android : Sports - Fitness Apps With News And Scores / ESPN - CBS Sports Have Droid App?
Dec 24, 2009I currently have SportsTap. I like it so far but I do which their wasn't a limit of 7 teams to follow. Is their any other good Sports Apps with news and scores? Does ESPN or CBS Sports have an android app out yet?
I'm also looking for a good workout app. Something that can be like a personal trainer to me in setting up workout routines and tracks my progress.

Dec 6, 2009I just got a Motorola Droid, used to have a blackberry. I work retail and am in my store for 2 hours before i open in the morning. I used I Heart Radio to listen to Fox Sports, Steve Czaben and then some of Dan PAtrick show.Since I Heart Radio isn't on Droid yet, at least i cant find it and Ive looked and tried every radio app and cannot find one that has Fox at all. There's got to be one. Any suggestions?

Sep 19, 2010Has anyone had trouble getting in game alerts from Sports Tap and LIve scores? Sports Tap was working but then became unreliable so i added live scores to the list. I have never gotten an update from live scores, and since sports tap hasn't worked either. Any ideas?

Feb 9, 2010I need to dial a number in Germany which would be +49... now since i can't make that call with my verizon plan i bought a CBS phone card. so i hit 1 for English, 2 for international etc. then when i need to enter the number, on my old phone it worked fine by holding 0 for a while to dial +49. but for some reason that doesn't work with the droid. any ideas?

Jun 17, 2010I've been looking for a clear answer to this, and while a number of people have posted about it, I still am not 100% sure of the answer. I am going on a trip to England in a couple of weeks; I am not planning on using my phone to make calls or send texts while I am there, so I am not looking into any kind of international data plan (I'm not even sure if this exists for Eris). However, I will be driving around quite a bit, and it would be really nice if there was any way to use the GPS navigation. From other posts it seems like this may not be possible, but I'm not sure. I had thought that since GPS uses a satellite signal rather than the cell network, I could put the phone into airplane mode, then just enable satellite reception and I would be all set. Perhaps this doesn't work because the data connection is needed to load the maps ... ? Anyway, if someone could explain to me the ins, outs and possibilities of using GPS in other countries

Oct 29, 2010Im streaming my radio show of choice (lex & terry app)...about 10 min goes by and it stops. I go to the phone which is hooked up to my radio and a wall charger and the 3g symbol has no activity and the program that streams my show says connection lost. Any reason why it is shutting off. I never had this problem with the eris. Just got my droid yesterday.

Unfortunately most of the stream links are Flash. So I've searched for the station call letters in android apps and they're not there. The links from mobile stream center won't play either. May be a tad big, but very nice device
One thing that our EVO friends touted, but could not back up (hidef video) IS possible with the X. The 45nm chipset makes a huge difference in regards to heat output. How practical it is would be another story, but still- nice device.
Is the microsd blocked by the battery on the X? I hate that.

Perhaps a better way to word it for the hidef is QUALITY hidef. EVO, like all other devices that use the snapdragon, sux for hidef output, due to the 65nm chipset not handling the heat well.
Motorola Droid :: Phone While Connected To Radio Via AUX
Jul 15, 2010For some reason, not sure if it was due to the rooting w/ kangerade latest version. But now when I am streaming pandora and the phone rings I can barely hear the people on the other end. Really scratchy, but its fine once I pull the aux cable out. I also added the new baseband that pete put out that was said to be for Froyo? Not sure if it is the new baseband, even though I get more bars in more places....(tired ass ATT slogan, even though I work there)
