In the calendar app, it syncs with all my google calendars except the google sports calendars for some reason. They aren't even displayed in the menu. Is there any way to enable showing the sports calendars on android's calendar?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI currently have SportsTap. I like it so far but I do which their wasn't a limit of 7 teams to follow. Is their any other good Sports Apps with news and scores? Does ESPN or CBS Sports have an android app out yet?
I'm also looking for a good workout app. Something that can be like a personal trainer to me in setting up workout routines and tracks my progress.
For those of you who had an Instinct, there was a sports tab where you could make a category called "My Teams" and then in there put all the teams you follow. Then you select a team and see their entire schedule, previous scores and game data/stats.
Whats the equivilent to that on the Hero?
Does anyone know of a good armband or sports case for the Hero?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently writing an Android app that should be able to communicate in real time with another app hosted in Google's app engine. Since I can't use sockets in GAE, I though maybe using XMPP over GTalk server would solve my problem. But that way the Android app would be connected to the users account and thus showing the user as being online, when in reality the user is not. Any way of achieving this kind of communication without showing the user as being online?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from a Treo to the Moment. Generally quite pleased, but the Moxier email client doesn't seem to be displaying html links at all.
Exchange mail on the Treo still shows links, so unlike some of the other posts, the problem is not with the corporate exchange server stripping out html.
Is there a setting in Moxier to enable links within email messages?
Not all of my google calendars appear on hero. If I click into calendars there is one missing. How can i get it?

Is there a way to have it sync with ALL the calendars on my exchange account? (And I did go to the calendars selection settings but it only shows one of my exchange calendars.

I am a leader of 3 different organizations and have 3 different calendars in Outlook. Is there a way or an application to Sync multiple calendars to the Sprint HTC Hero calendar?
For some reason, I can only see my personal calendar and my exchange calendar on my Hero even my studio and wife's calendar are shared to my account. I seem fine on my PC but I can't see them on my phone. My wife has a hero and she can see my calendar and the studio calendar without any issues.

I have seen Android phones that can view subscribed calenders from other users before, but I am the only person I know to own a HTC andriod phone and on the Hero I can not see any of my subscribed calendars.The gmail account tied to the the HTC hero has 6 calendars created through gmail interface. I only had one when I initially set up the phone and I added 2 yesterday.
The 2 new ones will not show up in the phone.

also, I subscribed to a read only one (canadian holidays) and it was on the phone right away.
So it seems that only ones that I create I cannot get to the phone.

Am using gmail and i get the email through straight away on the PC but about 15-30 mins later on my phone. Am used to instant email on the blackberry.
Also, i wonder if i'm doing something wrong in contacts. Have set up all my numbers and set the names to be displayed but when they come through some show the email address instead of the name? Can i get round this?
I have 5 messages displayed in messages widget and i am able to swipe only till 2nd message.
Is this an issue or the expected behavior
I got this problem, the headphone logo is on my htc hero, but there is not headphone plug in, therefore I got no sound unless I plug in my headphone, but when I take it out, the logo is still there. To make it worst, I now cannot sync to upgrade the software. I did a master reset, and the headphone logo is still active. All I did was switch off my phone and turn it back on, this happen.
View 12 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question, i have set up my contacts to link to facebook accounts, linking their profile pictures to, however when any of the contacts call and their photo is displayed whilst ringing, it is quite fuzzy is this the same for everyone? i also tried taking a photo off the hero camera and using that instead, picture looked great in the viewer, but when i attach it to a person and they ring, its dead fuzzy again.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC Hero running the latest 1.5 software off of HTC site. One thing I have noticed, is that if I have any photos associated with a contact, the photo is heavily pixelated when it is displayed via an incoming/outgoing call.
I am using Gmail Sync to push email, calender and contacts. If I use the Pre or iPhone, then it shows up fine.
Is this a known bug? I have tried re-creating the image on the Hero - but once I select the area, it pixelates it again.
What do you think is the best App for following Sports especially "Our" Football and NFL please?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway off changing your scene to say 'car' and it turning on GPS, Bluetooth and then going back to a scene called home and it turns them off and turns wifi on (I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work) or an app that can do this (with out GPS enabled) for me.

The current mod is for Fresh 2.3.3, but this can be ported over to other ROMs.
Is there a simple way to enable / disable vibrate for the phone / notifications? I tried using the volume rocker, going to vibrate there. That works for the ringers, but not notifications. I mainly want to set / unset vibrate for gmail and Google Voice. I have tried various 3rd party apps like Volume Control / Audio Manager, but nothing seems to work consistently.
