My phone seems a little more laggy than before. I'm running aloysius v11 and oc to 710 and was happy with the snappy feel and no lag. The aloysius dialer seems to be lagging a bit, going to a black screen for just a second then the dialer comes up. could i have done any damage to my phone with this lockscreen? Once I realized what I did, I did a wipe/dalvik wipe and nand restore. the restore took and my phone was just like before i did this lockscreen thing. but now seems slower. maybe my imagination.

I was able to apply the rotary one here [THEME] Rotary Style Lockscreen for EE 3.0 or CE 1.1 [UPDATED: 06/08/2010] - xda-developers
However, I can't seem to change it to the first one, which is the one I really like. Metamorph goes through and applies the XML and apk, reboots, but always comes back to the rotary one.

1 - Last night, I put a background app on my Eris and downloaded a couple. Got the message just fine that they were saved to my SD card.
2 - This question in two parts.
A - Where the heck are they? I went to look for them in the settings area, and I can't find them in any "gallery." What am I doing wrong?
B - Once "found," how do I save them to a gallery that I can use to change the lockscreen background?
Again, I can't do this on a PC and rooting is not an option for me (one, I really don't know much about it, and two, I think you lose Sense UI which I like and don't want to get rid of).locate any files on my SD card. As a matter of fact, the only option shown in my settings for the SD card is "Unmount SD card." The Format SD Card is greyed, so it's not letting me choose it even if I wanted to. Is this a setting somewhere else?

Mar 5, 2010I figured out a cool way of getting a different "lockscreen" (in a way) on the Eris with 2.1.
Download the app myLock (beta) from the market. (Don't download myLock complete beta) Go into the app, and press toggle lockscreen skip.
Now you can go to settings>security and make an unlock pattern. Now when you lock your phone and press the unlock key, you go straight to the pattern unlock screen and the app bypasses the htc lock screen. Pretty sweet. You even get the cool eclair clock on there!
