View 3 RepliesThe messaging system at the company I work for generates .wav files for voicemails and sends them as attachments. When I try to open one of these attachments, it brings up the music player, and then the music player gives an error message along the lines of "sorry, player does not support this type of audio file".Is the only way to fix this to download some other music player? And if so, how would I set that as the default?
View 6 Replies View RelatedTrying to figure out why I can't open file attachments from emails. Received some pdf files and two doc files today. Tried opening files from email with pdf reader program and quickoffice or whatever its called. Neither type of file would open. Tried to download then open files with same problem. Files are definitely .pdf and .doc, just opened and rad them on laptop now. Also confused...is there any way to look at my SD card folders and files through a phone app? Can't figure out how to see anything other then my music and photos.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recieved a message (official OTA ) on my Desire to download Froyo. After the download it says that the file is corrupted. I have an 16gb card, do i need to put the original card when downloading/instaling the Froyo? Theres a file that i can put in my sd card and it automat installs froyo?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf anyone gets the update as a test user, post the update.zip here in a mediafire, etc., link. Hit install later and save to SD card, then mount the phone to the computer and move to your computer then upload to a file hosting site of choice. We wont have to wait for it to "roll out" by this method. Once downloaded from said link, and saved to your computer, move to root of SD card, boot into recovery and install update.zip.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLet me make this clear up front- this is with the HTC mail client and connecting via an exchange account. I have replied to messages, attaching documents and pictures but the recipient does not get them. However when I send the document or picture in a new email and they get it. Am I missing something? I have searched on many forums and do not see where anyone has complained of this before. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. For now, I am going to try Touchdown to see if this remedies the problem.

When I attach a picture to an email with Outlook Ecxchange Active Sync via our server at work I receive an error. "Delivery to the following recipipients was aborted after 3 seconds. View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble watching wmv attachments that are attached to an email on my Incredible. I've tried from the email, saving to the phone and then trying to watch in a media viewer and I can hear everything fine but not see any video. Is there some setting I don't have set correctly or is this a flash issue that will hopefully be fixed with 10.1 later this year?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy NexusOne is not sending text messages with associated pictures. Unsent mesages have an icon of a envelope with a red clock on top. Messages have remained unsent for several days other text messages remain unaffected. If the attachments are too large might this be a problem? If so what is the remedy and is there anyway to determine the size of the attachment?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI did a search but only found a thread that mentions downloads go to some .mail folder by default. If that's the case, I can't find it. Which means I don't know how to download any attachments from Exchange or Gmail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have configured the standard mail app (I think it is the HTC modified version). I sent an email with an attachment today and it never got sent, it is still in the outbox folder. So as a test just now, I sent myself 2 emails (one with an attachment, one without) and only one of the two went through (the one without attachment).

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe will be replacing our Palm Treo 755s with HTC EVOs. I have one now and am tasked with getting all the synchronization set up and working for the 30 attorneys and administrative staff I support. The only issue I am having is that I am unable to see, let alone open attachments on emails I receive on the phone. I can see that the message has an attachment because it has a paper clip next to the subject/sender in the email list. When I open the email, I see no evidence of an attachment. One thing I just figured out was that I can open PDF attachments as the phone came with a PDF viewer, but cannot open .DOCs even though I have installed the Docs Togo basic program. (It includes the DOC and XLS viewers). Is this not sufficient to open the attachments? If not is there some other FREE app that will allow me view these attachments on my EVO?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my google mail working and my Exchange account for my email. When I first looked at my exchange account I was happy to see that I could open a PPT document. I thought great news! However last night ( 3 days later) I could not open a document for the life of me, it keeps stating "fetching from server". My email stays on the server so its not like that original email was deleted. My gmail account opens up the attachment just fine (did a test) so does anyone know why I cannot open an attachment in my Exchange email (corporate app)?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've hit my first real usability snag with the G1.I tried to send a word processing file to someone via the gmail client on the G1 today, and found that I could select only photos and no other file type for attachments. So I fired up the browser and went to the desktop version of the gmail web site, and in the composition window, the button under the attachments section is captioned "Uploads Disabled" instead of the usual "Browse."Does anyone have a workaround for emailing non-jpeg attachments? This is a feature that I need to use on practically a daily basis. Any developers out there working on an email client, please support this feature.
