View 2 RepliesJust got my Froyo update today. After reviewing the changes vs various web articles and videos online about the changes, I am apparently missing some things. Examples: I didn't get Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and I can't find it in the market to D/L. My Camera does not have the new features.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI still have not received the ota 2.2 update for my motorola droid. I used to have my droid rooted to droidmod I think, I started having some problems (this was months ago so I'm sure everything was fixed) and I unrooted and went back to stock 2.0.1 and then used the ota to update to 2.1. So I am waiting on froyo and I was just wondering if I update and don't like it will I be able to flash back to 2.0.1.
View 14 Replies View RelatedIf i am rooted, how do i get the new froyo 2.2 update with flash 10.1? Here goes my rooted phone info:

Has anyone used HBOGo on the Incredible since the froyo and flash update? Everytime I go to the website I can't do anything. It would be nice to watch movies and hbo films on my phone.

For some reason whenever I go to a website to see full flash on my evo the browser closes. Its very annoying. I found this video on youtube and someone is having the same problem I'm having. Also whenever I plug the phone into the ac adapter to charge it, the memory card becomes unavailable as if the phone thinks I'm using usb to pc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was quite excited to have flash on my mobile devise and as I have an unlimited subscription to Lovefilm I was looking forward to watching the on demand movies for free. But I was disappointed when I was met by the message "does not support this type of flash". Is there an update or an app I can use? Lovefilm uses Flash Player 10.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFlash seems to be the biggest problem with the 2.2 HTC pre-release build. I've poked around with the problem for a few minutes and have yet to find a solution to getting 10.1 to work, however, you can get around the random crashes by starting your browser and immediately stopping whatever page is loading. Head into the settings and disable java script. This will enable you to still use your browser, just not any flash. Hopefully we'll get a solution shortly.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI updated using the update zip and it worked I have froyo but instead of flash I see boxes with little green arrows pointing down.
View 7 Replies View RelatedDroids have the flash working but mine does not, my droid is on 2.01.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a droid x n have been trying to get hulu to play since I got the phone. I was told that 2.2 would have flash 10.1 support. When I got the update july worked flawlessly. A few hours later every video gave me a "this video is unavailable, if u continue to receive this message clear ur cache" so I did n nothing changed. I went check my flash n the flash player had uninstalled itself. I reinstalled n applied the update n got the same result. I tried other flash sites n they r not working(only flash games work, no videos).
I brought my phone to Verizon n they gave me a replacement saying it should b able to play. The new phone is doing the same thing. Is this a skimmed down version of flash or is the flash support crazy? Y will this not play after hours of flawless performance? It also freezes the browser everytime, full episode or clip, any show. Is there a Divx web player yet? I know u can use ur pc as a server to stream them through, but can I pull up movies from icefilms.info or alluc.org directly through the browser?
I might have missed something, but how do we get flash working on the new 2.2 emulator? The sites I've tried don't work (eg BBC), and when trying to go to flash install site, i get rerouted to a market url for com.adobe.flashplayer (which obviously won't work on an emulator). So is flash being delivered as a market app? And if so how do we get it on an emulator.
View 7 Replies View RelatedTitle pretty much sums up my question. I was wondering if there was any way to block flash ads with the default mobile browser? I know you can make them load on demand or, using Dolphin HQ, block some aspects of them using Ad block, but I was wondering if there was any way of blocking them outright. Please excuse me for not searching the forums very thoroughly before posting; the forum's search function isn't very mobile friendly.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo now that we have flash 10.1 I am wondering what websites you folks are utilizing to take full advantage of the update. I tried mlb.tv but everything comes in extremely choppy and tells me not optimized for mobile. I also went to comedy central.com but that is mostly short clips, So I was wondering if you guys had any sites that you could help the rest of us out with. (Also if someone knows a site to get It's always Sunny in Philly episodes it would be great).
The best site I know of is:
www.allsp.com (Southpark)
I got OTA 2.2. Do I now have full flash? or Do I need to do another step. In my apps it shows flash 10.1 (is that beta?)

View 3 Replies View RelatedHow I love my Droid so much more now that I am using Froyo and Flash. I tried Froyo a few times in the past but always went back to 2.1 due to the fact I am addicted to World War. Now that the 2.2 OTA came out and went ahead and installed a Rooted 2.2 ROM and then installed Flash. Now I am able to stream video from mega video with almost no problems. They only problem I have is that the sound is just a little off. It's not to bad though. Anyhow back to watching The Big Bang Theory.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was certain I'd seen another post on this, but can't find it. Since Froyo, my camera doesn't work with flash. Even at 90% battery I get this message: Flash is disabled due to low battery power, cold weather, or a running application that uses a lot of power, like Wi-Fi hot spot and phone. I haven't got a LED flash torch thing - I uninstalled that before updating to 2.2. Ideas?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone can link me to a Download of Flash for Froyo 2.2 FRF57, the newest Froyo ROM released? Actually, I'm using BuglessBeast V0.1 FRF57. Not sure if that matters. I've tried downloading one from droid-life but the APK wouldn't install. It said it couldn't open it as an APK file.
