Sorry if this is already somewhere on the forum. I searched and just got a bunch of complaint threads about swype. My girlfriend likes the incredible, but is leaning towards the droid x instead because she knows it has swype preinstalled. If i had it on my inc, she'd be all over it. How can i get it on my incredible?

I assume this is because swype have not released it yet for this phone. I'm definitely diggin' Swype on my Evo, however I've got a question that hopefully has a simple answer. My phone used to go to sleep after a minute, which is what I like/want. Since I installed the Swype Beta today, it won't. I have to go and tap my power button to make it sleep. Is there a work around for this?

I used to have swype a long time ago and really miss it anybody know where i can get a copy? i tried downloading one but it's expired. I tried registering for a download at the swype website but i never got an email offering me it. Just in case i can't get it, are there any other good alternatives? I remember there being quite a few good ones in the marketplace but i can't find them anymore.

Is it just me that is still having problems with the swype pop up warning every time I turn the phone into landscape view, even when I'm just doing things like web browsing?.. I am using the beta version of the software (originally downloaded it from the swype site before it was pulled, but un-installed it due to problems getting it to work: I'm now using the same beta version that is knocking around: droid.swype.beta5612).
