Sprint HTC Hero :: Need Best Settings For NES/SNES Emulators - Frame Rate?
Mar 12, 2010Anybody know the best settings for the NES/SNES emulators-frame rate, etc to get rid of lag? The first time I used it it was lag free, now I'm getting a little jumpy frames and stuff....(i bought the full versions of both).
I have a sprint htc hero rooted w/ fresh 1.1 and gumbo + set CPU!

Jan 25, 2010I ve just installed them + loaded some .nes , . smc games. None of them work. I tap them to open and application force closes or it opens the menu of the emulator.

Quite frankly my biggest worry about the Epic at this point is the lack of support in the future, but it def has some features I do like.. (Mainly the GPU / Processing)

Nov 12, 2010I thought I saw a thread somewhere someone stared with roms that work with the SNESoid but I can't seem to find it (maybe I'm mistaking it for a different emulator though).
Can anyone point me to it, or tell me if they have been able to get Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure to work? It may be the ROM I'm trying, but I can't seem to get the game to work.
Also, I have not tried the PSX emulator, but am thinking about buying it. Can anyone with it try Pitfall 3D for me and see how that runs?

Feb 14, 2010Alright, I am currently in the process of backing up all of my owned snes and genesis games on my motorola droid. So I go to a well known rom site that advertises itself as "free" with their "roms". And I have no problem downloading the genesis games and getting them to play. But whenever I go to legally back up an snes game and click download it directs to a page with a bunch of symbols and numbers as if dolphin is trying to open it through the browser. Keep in mind, this only happens with the snes roms.

Jul 13, 2010I have a rooted Moment and just downloaded the lite version of the Genesis emulator because I want to test it out before i decide if i should buy it, or the SNES/NES ones. My questions are what are the best sites to download roms for these emulators and then how do you run them? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to phones and OS's so any help would be great.
Really the only games im looking for are Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. Mario of course for the SNES/NES. I remember trying to find Mario for the emulator I had on my computer but couldn't find any.

And Im NOT looking for emulating the 64 or PS2 or 3, I know our processor cannot handle it. I want some games badly for my phone! Apr 10, 2010I know that iphone users can jail break to get the old school emulators and I think that by now, there are some emulators in the apple market. My question is on a couple levels...
- Without jailbreaking, can you get roms on the iphone for free?
- If so how?
- How well does the on screen controller work
- Is the small screen you have to use on the iphone emu an issue?

Jun 7, 2010I downloaded the lite version to try it out. Downloaded two different versions of Super Mario RPG roms. I open the app, then choose a rom, then I get a black screen with the controls on it, but I can't get to the game. What am I doing wrong?

Jan 5, 2013I have a Galaxy Note i717 on stock ICS. I have had a custom rom on it before (CM10 nightly) but i reverted back to stock ROM. Well last night i found the Padawon ICS 6.2 ROM. So i downloaded it and put everything on the SD Card. Then went to google play and got a couple app to backup things like titanium backup and SMS backup. I am a frequent Tap Fish and Shipwrecked player so i backed them up in hopes to keep my game data. I also made a backup of current ROM. So i installed the ROM, went to the play store downloaded Titanium and went to restore apps and nothing was there. So i went and downloaded my games and i went back into Titanium backup and still no backups were shown. Is there any possible way to keep my game data when i switch roms?

Sep 28, 2010i recently bought an evo 4g ( great phone ! ) and i have been looking at the forums on how to properly get it to work. I downloaded the snesnoid lite and androzip. Then i downloaded the rom ( that i have ;p) off a couple of sites. Everytime i do download the rom, it ends up as a " .bin" file. Is this uncommon? im not sure as wheither it's the site or just a setting in my phone thats making it a bin file.

Aug 6, 2010Everything sets up fine but when i try to run the SNES emulator with say Zelda, Resident Evil 2 etc. I get a red screen that stays either solid or fuzzes and the game never even starts up. I have tried different settings to no avail.

May 22, 2010I have a square grid, for a turn based game ( grid is similar to the chess board ), but the moves in the games are different based on whether you have lapped your opponent pawn at least once or not.i.e if you have not lapped (beaten any of the opponents pawns) in the outer most grid as below.if you have lapped your opponent pawn once at least, then you get to reach home,this way.Any player having all his pawns reaching "home" first wins.The ones in yellow are safe-houses, i.e both the opponent pawn and the player's pawn get to stay in the same grid, this is not considered to be lapping ( the opponent ).The lapped pawn will return to its start point.Now the question is, what is the effective way to store the paths for the all the pawns.we will have 4 pawns for the player and 4 opponent pawns.Is there any pattern to store such static information, in a elegant way?

Nov 12, 2010I have a puzzle game with a 7x7 grid of graphics, and a timer, its just about ready to go. But I am stuck on how to go about saving/continuing game. For example when someone exits I want them to be able to save and exit, then come back and click continue to pick up where they left off with all of the graphics in the right place, timer and score. I looked at onSaveInstanceState android examples, but not sure if this is what I need or how to implement it in my case.
