View 2 RepliesAccording to the VZW documents, you cannot replace Bing on the Fascinate! Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate training documents leaked Boy Genius Report Looks like I might have to pass on this phone, or at least wait till root and a nice rom is cooked up. VZW must hate samsung to sabotage the phone so badly.

View 7 Replies View RelatedInstead of seeing the boring old Android logo or my service provider's logo, I'd love to see the standard text-based Linux boot screen that shows the status of all the hardware and configuration info as my phone boots. My current phone is an HTC EVO 3D running Cool ICS with Sense 3.6 and Revolutionary CWM.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI went to reboot my Droid because it was lagging a little and when it came back on it go stuck at the Cyanogen boot screen. I pulled the battery, put it back in and held the X to boot in recovery and my recovery won't come up either. It just skips right to the Motorola M and if it doesn't get stuck there it goes back to the Cyanogen screen.
I haven't made any changes to the phone at all so I am completely puzzled on why this is happening. I obviously can't take it back to Verizon since its rooted so if there is a way to fix this I really want to because I love my phone and my wife will kill me if it is screwed up.
LOCK screen aprears at the main screen, after boot the emulator boot up. I want to disable the locking at main screen, So that while next time i boot up my emulator not LOCK screen apears. Can any body suggest me best solution for this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTried rooting so I started off flashing r8 of bh_man's 1.6 rom. Went through the setup, odin turned blue to pass and I let the phone run past the android system and then the screen turned off.
Thing about it is that the phone is still being detected by the computer and odin. It's like my phone is on a screen lock but not responding to when I push unlock.
Ive tried every custom rom and each one does the same. I try to go back to stock and most of the time the program closes, when it doesn't I try to flash it and it goes through the process but goes on forever. One time I let the timer go on for 2 hours and it was still on 5/9 completed.
I just flashed Myns Two point Two. I used to Amon RA to wipe the things I needed to wipe and then installed the rom. Little to say that when I booted, it got stuck on the boot screen.I've done a hard reset, booted to the loader, and wipe the data but to no avail.

View 13 Replies View Related Trying to get sound during the boot screen on my stock Gingerbread rom AT&T Infuse 4G.
In systemmedia, I have the bootsamung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg. I was missing the PowerOn.ogg in the systemmediaui folder so I copied that from another Samsung phone but still get no sound during the AT&T boot screen. I assume there must be a text file that allows the phone to seek the ogg file.
I have an AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket (SGH-I727) ...I flashed the CM10 Superheavy 5.0 ROM, but I did the Hercules (T989) by accident. Now my model number is (T989). I tried to flash the stock .tar file for I727, but I just kept getting the AT&T boot screen looping. How can I go back to I727 so I can reflash the correct CM10 ROM?
View 1 Replies View RelatedGot the WSOD on a non-rooted, stock 2.2 incredible last night. Pulling the battery is the only way to turn it off. Recovery and Factory Reset from hboot manager hang at the htc white screen. Clear Storage also goes straight to the white screen. If turned off it'll charge. SD card is not corrupted. Phone was in close proximity to an iphone 3g for maybe an hour. (We'd been comparing the screens then the iphone was placed on top of the incredible while we ate dinner.) Noticed that phone was at the white screen. Battery was not warm. No signs of external damage. Either this is totally random, or the RF from the iphone managed to fry something.

View 26 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my replacement Hero and rooted it. Flashed CM6 and it just keeps reloading the Cyanogen (mod) screen that has the circular arrow surrounding the Android. I've left it go for 45 minutes and still nothing more, it won't boot up completely. I've tried Wiping everything and for some reason I can't find my Nandroid backup. I can't seem to do anything now. How do I wipe this clean again and start over?

View 22 Replies View RelatedI have last night updated my X10i through SE US to Android 2.1. Following from here I cannot get past the boot screen, it switches on, but stays blank and does not do anything else. I have tried to re-install / repair through SE US (PC Companion does not work in this case) to flash it once again, and also that did not help. It keeps telling me that everything is fine, and I should just switch on my mobile phone.
