This must be a first? I searched here and on google. This screen shot was taken while I was holding down the square widget so it would "hide" the dock and you could see the widget hanging off the edge. Is there anyway to delete it? I'm not rooted.

I use the standard widget for Bookmarks. But there are many Bookmarks i want to delete from it. I know how to add, but i dont understand how i delete.Open up the browser first, then hit menu/bookmarks/menu/delete. Then you can check the ones you want to delete.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI entered a friend into my contact list and added him to my Favorites widget. I want to remove him from my favorites widget now, but not from my contacts list. How do I do this? It keeps deleting the entire contact. I've edited the contact and removed him from Favorites group and I've gone into People, Groups, & removed the contact from Favorites but when I go to my contact list, he doesn't show up anymore. Why?! If I go to the Favorites widget and add a new favorite then the contact shows up again. But if I just open up people and scroll down-no contact showing up!

I am using the Google widget that came stock with the phone. At various times, the widget has become stuck on my home screen and I can't remove it. After making my changes to the platform source, I was able to successfully compile the source - thus creating system.img, ramdisk.img, and userdata.img. When I go to test this in the emulator, the emulator just hangs on the "ANDROID_" screen, with the underscore blinking, but never seems to load. Any suggestions? The command I used to run the emulator is as follows:
./emulator -system $HOME/android/platform/out/target/product/generic/system.img -ramdisk $HOME/android/platform/out/target/product/generic/ramdisk.img -data $HOME/android/platform/out/target/product/generic/userdata.img
I have moved some intensive processing from my main thread to a service. My UI is hanging and then crashing when I start the service, even if I put the service start in a new thread started via

What am I doing wrong? Also, it seems like the cause of the eventual crash in the service/worker thread doesn't show up in LogCat.
Somehow I am hitting it just right with my face and it hangs up on people all of the time. Is there a setting somewhere to combat this? It is driving me crazy.

All was going smoothly until recently when my Market downloads suddenly started hanging, both free and purchased ones. I have internet connection - no problem there. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I recently converted from googlemail to gmail. Could that have any effect? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?

I don't go a day without using it and I'm still trying to get everything customized to my liking. However I have had one issue since I received my phone. I seem to be hanging up on people with my face or either my phone is dropping calls like crazy. I took it in to the verizon store and the lady there had no idea what to do. My phone calls just end mid conversation with someone and I don't know if it's my face or if my droid x is dropping calls. It doesn't say anything like "call was lost" like it did on my old phone.
