HTC Droid Eris : Sd Card Folders - Access Other Folders With Saved Data
Feb 17, 2010I usually view email with attachments from my pc because I usually lack the time to download the attachment. Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. Aside from pics and videos, how do I access other folders with saved data?

So how do I add this new Gmail acct and Google Calender to my Hero so I can recveive my email and be able to access the calender using the GMAIL App that came preinstalled?

Mar 25, 2010I just updated my Eris to 2.1. When i start it up, i give the google account info and the password and it all works good. But when i turn my phone on every time, it says there is a problem with my Google Account because the password is incorrect or your account has changed. It isnt the password that is wrong?
How to get it to work and remember the password? I was hoping to unroot back to 1.5 but i dont think that is possible.

Feb 19, 2010When I try to access my favorites and playlists, it's keeps asking me for my password telling me I entered the incorrect password or account information has changed. Nothing has changed. I am able to log onto Youtube on my pc with the same password, but can not on the Droid.
It was working just fine earlier in the evening, but I can't imagine what changed.
If I look under Accounts and Sync in the settings section, I see my gmail account and my youtube account. When I click REMOVE ACCOUNT under the youtube setting, it tells me I am going to erase all my messages and contacts. I thought I could reset the password this way, but I was concerned it was going to erase my gmail contacts as I don't have any youtube contacts and thus don't know what they are referencing.

Changes i made werent showing up on web version, and emails i sent would just sit in outbox.I have 2 gmail accts.Removing 1 of the accts and adding it back, fixed the issue with that account.But its not letting me remove the main gmail acct.

I've searched the forums and found articles but known that gives me a step by step, I'm no amateur, but the N1 doesn't give me the option except for FB, twitter, and active sync, and Gmail. I know it's possible, it just ahs to be! My 2006 Samsung Alias aloud for it, why won't the N1? I even called Goog to ask them and they had no clue.

May 27, 2010Noticed yesterday that I wasn't getting any new Gmail. After about 12 hours of no syncs I went in and played with settings, turning the sync on-and-off, and it finally synced again.
Well, now it has gone 13 hours without a sync according to the settings, and nothing I do seems to make it want to sync.
Anyone have any suggestions? I am running 2.1, and sync has worked since the upgrade for at least a few days. I have installed no new apps, I did delete one (Engadget reader, so nothing important)

Nov 1, 2009I've gotten our company staff to be able to see and modify eachother's calendars within our google apps accounts. but.. we're having trouble making it so we can see company contacts (ie - customers) would love it if we could get one person to take a call, enter in the contacts info and then assign a tech to the service call and he can see it in his android phone. we've created a generic [company_name]@gmail.com google apps account - one person can connect/login to it (me! of course!haha) but can't get a second person to do the same. do you think google is doing this on purpose? not allowing a second android device to login?

Jan 4, 2010I have 2 gmail accounts. Unfortunately, one of them is for my calendar and contacts and the other is for my personal e-mail. As of now, my cal and contacts are syncing fine but I do not use the e-mail account that is associated with thier username. I have my other account (personal e-mail) set up sepeartely....along with a few other e-mail accounts(work and etc.). I would like to know if i can leave my cal and contacts setup on the regular droid sync account but change the e-mail account to my personal acct. so it will "push" by default with out having it in a seperate palce on the droid. I know this is confusing but i dont know how else to explian it.

When hitting menu, i see the folders button at the bottom left but when I hit it, I see trash, sent, drafts and outbox only. Anyone figure this out?

Sep 21, 2010In the WinMo world I could have copied the folder with the executable and data files and changed the registry to be able to organize most of my stuff on the sd card. (of course some apps didnt play nice but 90% of the stuff did)
This is one thing that really bugs me. Im looking for a way to change the location of where an app writes is directories... Ill give you a real world example...

I would like to be able to create several other albums (i.e. kids, family, friends, pets, etc) to easily access pictures instead of scrolling through 100's. m sure i not the only one thats wants this cuz its kind of annoying to see all the photos in one album rather then have it all organized.

I want to make sub folders for each band (ac/dc/, beatles, etc) I can do it on the sd card when my phone is connected to the computer, but when I disconnect it and look in gallery on the phone, the Music Videos folder does not appear. So, I had to make a folder for each band instead Videos - Beatles, Videos - ac/dc etc) its a pain. Has anybody tried the sub folder route? or isn't Froyo sophisticated enough to do this?
