View 37 Replies View RelatedI couldn't hear the music play at max volume on my Incredible at work (noisy environment). Was disappointing coming from a raggedy BB Storm 1. But then I did something to it and the volume incresed... about 25% higher from the max setting that I had. I can now hear it while I am working. I tested this method on the Pandora. It worked every time.
Here is how:
1. Play music (from whatever app you use)
2. Hit the home key
3. Open Voice Search (Programs key if you don't have it on your home screen).
4. Done.
Is there any software/os updates to fix my cam from freezing every other picture? and my speaker phone is no louder then my ear piece (ringers & music are loud)

View 2 Replies View RelatedHere are a few simple tweaks I discovered to make your Kaos Froyo rom as fast or faster than most 2.1 based roms. These settings make a world of difference in how the phone responds and make Froyo a joy to use!
1. Ditch Adw and install Launcher Pro. 90% of the slowness comes from Adw!
2. Go to settings/display/animation and turn off all animations. They might look neat, but youll be surprised at how fast the phone is without them.
3. Under LauncherPro preferences, go to Advanced Settings and change the opening speed to 10 for both options.
4. Install setcpu and set it for 245,710 for normal use, and 245,480 for when the screen is off. Kaos rom is already overclocked to 710 so this is just for extra battery life.
5. reboot the phone after applying the tweaks and enjoy a very fast eris.
Seriously, after doing this my phone flies like it has never done before on any 2.1 based rom. Changing between apps is instant and everything is extremely responsive. I love this rom!
Ok all of a sudden, my phone will not vibrate for messages anymore. Even if I put the sound profile to vibrate, it will not. Anyone experienced this or is there some type of setting that can tweak this?
It all of a sudden started doing this like an hour ago. It will play a notification sound if I want it to but will not vibrate, which is how i like to receive my texts. I have the option checked for phone to vibrate when messages are received and nothing at all.
Do you have to flash Colin's battery tweak after every new nightly?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got G1 phone and I think its awesome. The biggest weakness on this phone is vibration. Even I put G1 phone o my computer desk next to me. I cant feel a thing seriously but with my old Blackberry I can. I really need it badly since I am deaf. I found a funny app called Vibrator and vibration actually can last longer than the notification setup. I figure someone can help me setup fast and simple apps that allows us to tweak vibration to be stronger. I know Blackberry has range 1 to 10, let me decide what works best for me. How do I formally request Android Team or Google/TMO to look at it?

I am working on an art project with several other people that involves simultaneity and photography. We want to coordinate a series of events involving simultaneous photographs based on the Android system.
In simple terms, here is what we are proposing. Someone writes an app for Android Phone/Camera that makes the camera take a photograph at a predetermined time so that many thousands of people all take a simultaneous photograph. The art involved here is not only the synchronizing of the event to approximate simultaneity but also making "social networking" into an element of an art project.
That would be nice video player if you could play compressed divx movies without encoding them in a program to h264 or mp4.One way I know you can play divx on a G1 Phone is to take your Divx movie and convert it using a program called XvidforPsp then put the video settings for the screen resolution for the androids phone or just select apples iphone presets and encode the video in h264 or mp4 then move the file to your memory card and open it in video player.I did this and it works great for watching your divx movies on a G1.Just whish i didnt have to do the extra steps.

When I send an email from the phone, does it get uploaded to the 'sent items' folder in the server? can k-9 access the full contact list stored in the phone? Alternatively, are there other email programs which would meet my needs?

really now i have problem i but the nandriod on sd card and i copy the files on android on c but when i power the galaxy in fastboot it asked me for android 1.0 driver and i try to use the drivers that come with sdk 1.0 and 1.5 and 1.6 but no way and after few second the mobile make restart automatically (i turns the usb debug on ) and after restart the windows detect unknown device what i have to do?

I put PB13IMG.ZIP on sd card, it installed. Then DINC_OTA and renamed to update applied that. REBOOTED checked settings and its still not updated.
