Looking to use my Google calender to track my work places/what i did etc..
is there an easier way to ADD stuff to the calender? any cool programs/etc? been searching for a while and can't find anything that fits my liking. Lotta cool programs to display, but nothing neat to add stuff quickly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I add a new item to my ItemizedOverlay the onTap display I have set appears X times, where X is equal to the number of items that I added. So for example, if I add one item and tap it, it the onTap method gets called once, and in the LogCat I get:

If I add a second item and click ANY of the other items, the onTap method gets called twice and I get the following in LogCat:

Any idea why this would occur? I'm running into issues with it affecting other things like removal of items.
I have an Absolute Layout with two buttons on top, a Text View of fixed size in the middle and List View as the rest of the Layout.
I want to use the top left button to add a list view item to the existing list and the top right button to remove the last item from the list. The List is layed out properly when the App starts, but as soon as any of the two buttons is pressed, the Activity Force Closes.

I can't figure out how to tell my Map to redraw its overlays once I've updated them. Currently the user has to touch the screen before the map is redrawn.

I'm trying to add custom menu items in a WebView Context Menu. Unfortunately, my items are shown in the menu of the first web page I load , but then if I load a second page, a long press only shows the standard context menu items. Mine are gone. I've put a Toast inside the code and it is displayed as well on the first loaded page, but not on the second. I'm using the code below:..............

However, there are some configuration items I have a big issue with as it relates to the 'look' of the email (coming from a BlackBerry).
1. Is there any way to have a single folder show my received items and sent items combined? My BB had this and it was very useful.
2. How can I edit the way my folders are displayed at the top horizontal bar? The sidescrolling folder display is awkward, it puts my inbox first (good) but then all subsequent folders are listed alphabetically; it pays no attention to their order on my desktop and also shows sub-folders of other files. Any way to change this?
3. Is there a way to change the way emails show as unread? The difference b/n read and unread is only a shade of grey, and difficult to see outside.
I want to add a contact just to my phone and not to my gmail account.Whenever I start to add a contact (phone, 208544.menu, +contact, create new contact,) the next thing it forces me to do is to choose an account to create the new contact under and it lists my 3 gmail accounts.I have no option to just put it on the phone.Any ideas here?We do the same thing on the Incredible but it gives us the gmail account and the phone to choose from but not on the Motorola.

I don't want these on my phone calender and when I go to Menu, there is no Delete option for these birthdays! I can only edit/delete birthday's I added myself on the phone!

I liked on my BB Curve that all the events were always on the agenda. It seems like there isn't an option to scroll down to see all events on the agenda.

I have the HTC calender widget that's sync'd with my Google calender. I have (2) events coming up within the next two days but it shows the second or later one vs the next one. For example, today is "eat lunch at school with my daughter". On Thursday, it's "eat lunch at school with my son". The widget isn't showing today's event, which IMO, it should.Also, for Thursday's event (today is Tuesday), it says:
"Tomorrow, 12-12:30, lunch."
Tomorrow is Wednesday, not Thursday.Anyone else seen issues like this ? If so, were you able to solve them?My phone is an HTC Eris, on VZW, running Android 1.5.
Is anyone experiencing a lot of force closes for the calender app on the Hero? I've tried inputting some info 3 times now and each time it is closing. Has anyone else run into this or does anyone know of a solution?

I'm desperately after a decent planner/Calender App for the Desire. One that ISN'T linked to Google Calendar.
Ideally I'm looking for one where the planner has colour coded bars for events like a traditional wall planner. These would be linked to the calendar itself.
I've tried most of the calendar apps out there, but I've not found one that's suitable. Also if I search for planner, I get all different kinds of planners, just not a basic universal one.
As the title says really, as from tomorrow, all my facebook friends birthdays are showing as double, all birthdays pre today are still showing as single.... Now i really do need a fix to this, cos it is gonna cost me a packet if i have to get everyone double gifts and cards.....
If anyone know what this anomaly is, could you please share the fix...

I didn't realize that the "alarm", is a barely audible "ting" sound, only discernible in a silent environment. Is there an app that will add a LOUD alarm (choice of my current ring-tones), so I can actually be notified of pre-set calender activity?
