I installed a 32 g micro sd card and transfered music to it. I put several (20 or more) albums on it it onlt shows 11. The folders for the other albums are there but they are empty. If I try to add more music I have the same problem with empty folders.

The music UI is choppy as can be, borderline unplayable at times, the lag is really bad. I've read other posts about faster cards improving performance on the player, but none really elaborating on the music playback.

I'm just wondering what people find is the best way to transfer music/files onto the Micro SD? I've tried connecting the phone via USB and also placing the Micro SD into a card reader and connecting directly to the PC that way. However, with both methods I get the same fault. When I place the card back into the phone, or disconnect the USB I get the 'Preparing SD Card' message, followed by 'The SD Card is damaged' with my only option to format the card and start all over again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have purchased a 23gb sdhc micro sd card. On my computer and phone the total memory is recognized. When connected to the computer I can transfer my selected music across to the phone (htc legend). No issues and no errors.
Everytime I dismount the phone and then check these files the phone only see 4-5gb of the music (9gb orignally added). If I then try and reconnect to my computer only the 4-5gb is present the rest has been erased! This is happened with 2 micro sd cards. Really confused - can anyone help?
I have accepted that I just can't get a smart phone. I'm on VZW and have a enV touch, its driving me up a wall. (I also made it go swimming with me so that's problem why). So to cut things short, is it possible to take a Micro Sim card from AT&T put it in a adapter and put it in say, a nexus one or captivate? What id do is take the no-contract pre-paid data plan of the iPad 3G, most likely the 200MB/month for $15 and use Google Voice and other various VoIP clients to use as phone and GV for texts. I pretty much have WiFi where ever I go and pretty decent AT&T 3G in my area. Yes I know, it's just not that simple. Id have to change the APN on the device to att's broadband. Tweak a heck out the phone. 1.) Is it possible? Ive seen it done for a data only iPhone 2.) It is legal right?

My device appears to recognize it in Settings | Storage since it shows Total space for the SD card as "29.71GB". However, I cannot figure how to browse to the card nor how to move files to it from within the Android OS. From within the My Files app, I cannot change directories from what appears to be the built-in memory since the "Up" icon is grayed out.
How do I access the microSD card by browsing to it and moving files to it?
Thinking of buying a new micro SD card for my phone. As in can I drag and drop copy the entire contents of my old micro SD card into my computer, then drag and drop copy the entire contents into a new micro SD card, and the applications will still work fine?
