HTC Droid Eris :: How Do I Keep Screen And Camera Lens Scratch Free?
Dec 6, 2009is there a full body cover or clear material that doesn't cause bubbles on the camera lens or interfere with the touch ability? I havn't been able to find anything yet or maybe I am using the wrong screen protector.

Jun 4, 2010This is driving me crazy. The phone is pretty much useless when this starts happening. I will be on the Main home screen and then it will start jumping Home screens as if I'm swiping to the left but I'm NOT swiping! Once it is on the last screen to the left it won't let me switch back to HOME. I can almost never do anything when this happens. I haven't dropped the phone. I've reset the G-Sensor. Has anyone experianced this? I've even done a Wipe of the device.

Jun 13, 2010Maybe this has been discussed, but i don't remember reading it. I've been clearing out my cache regularly to free up memory. But it never occurred to me to delete MMS messages. I just freed up 10 MB of internal memory by deleting MMS messages. I deleted entire threads, and in some cases, individual MMS messages (pictures and videos), because i didn't want to loose the whole thread.

Oct 20, 2010I'm starting-up yet another Android game review blog, and found the instructions to use the Android SDK to take screen captures from my phone (not rooted). This solution works beautifully for stationary-screen type games, but I'm having major tearing issues in my screencaps for Minisquadron - which is a fast, action type game. Are there any settings for the SDK/DDMS.bat that allow for faster, less-laggy captures? Or perhaps a "pause" app on the Market somewhere that lets me pause a game without a screen-overlay? I've tried Shoot It with the same results.

Jan 13, 2010I love the ERIS and have had it since late November. Over the last few weeks it has been lagging really bad. I have been so busy at work and home that I have not had time to try and get it back to working correctly.
Right now my up time is 32:09:02
Awake Time is 6:25:17 (20%)
I plugged it in to the computer and it is showing 6.89 gb free out of 7.39gb. Anyone have any ideas?

If you have the phone connected to a handsfree bluetooth system in a car and are also using the phone to play music via an aux input through the headphone jack will they both work? I am just wondering if the bluetooth connectivity will override the fact that you have something plugged into the headphone jack. I will be able to try this in a couple weeks when i get my car back, but wasjust curious if anyone else already has tried it.

Apr 26, 2010Is there any function or even app on the phone that will tell me how much free space I have for apps on the phone? The "free space" number that is in ABout Phone, or in many many system tools type apps is misleading, because that is a combination of the app space and the working memory space. Since Linux loads that up to be more efficient, it will almost always show some relatively low number (30-40MB in my case) as long as the phone has been turned on for some time. In reality, I only have 35MB of apps installed on my phone, so I have plenty of room, it is just hard to tell. So far, the only place I can find that info is on the web-based side of appbrain. Is there any on-phone location where I would be able to get that info? (Short of actually adding up all my apps' sizes by hand?)
