Are there any good apps or any apps at all in the marketplace that allow you to edit your pictures you take on your phone by like adding words to the pics or anything like that?

View 12 Replies View RelatedHow do i get peoples facebook picture to show up as their picture in my contacts. Right now my facebook picture shows up as Me, but none of the others are showing up. I even changed all my contact names to match the facebook page.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs this even possible on non rooted phones? i know on rooted phones you can go in and edit the png files in the .apk meaning you can change the icons for the apps and widgets etc. this caught my interest, being something that i could do as possibly an introduction into the developer side of the eris. just wanted to see if it would be possible to reinstall an edited apk file onto a non rooted phone
View 6 Replies View RelatedAt one time I thought I could edit (aka change) a previous event by:
1) Selecting the date on the calendar view
2) Selecting the event
3) This brings me to the "Event details". When the the screen opens I see the whole edit menu for a moment. Then I only see the event with date and time and a line that says "my calendar" with an icon. The menu's only choices are "add reminder", "delete" and "share vCalendar".
At one time I had an way of editing the event. I just cannot figure out how to do it now.
We all know that we cannot delete individual words in the dictionary ... however I found in thread in Android Applications that may be somewhat useful. I am posting it here becuase I dont know how many people check the other sections of the site.Here are a couple of the posts from that thread to explain.

View 16 Replies View Relatedi recently edited the advanced launcher apk to theme the app drawer and a few other small things. the edits worked prefectly and i'm loving the new look except for one thing...the scrollbar in the app drawer! it is grey (of course) and i would like to change it to blue. i have looked and looked and can't find the file to change. is it even in the apk or does advanced laucher get the scrollbar from framework-res.apk?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn the Messaging app in 2.2 when I'm in a thread it shows a pic of me and a pic of the other person next to every text sent and received. In the 2.1 app it simply showed my name and the other persons name; no pic of us next to every text. Is there anyway to disable showing the pics in the 2.2 app? Really don't see the need to have a pic next to each text.

Here is the problem i want to set the whole picture as the wallpaper but when you set as on the eris a box pops up the picture and you have to adjust it. I don't want that I want the whole dam picture. Are you guys having trouble. I found a website that has wallpaper with correct size but when i send it to myself i have to adjust the picture with that dang box.

I was really sad when i saw the quality of the photos that i took. Heres one.
I looked around on the forums before posting, and the issues i found similar to mine were on different phones, but i tried them anyways. Those threads suggested adjusting the flicker and Iso settings. messed with both, and there really wasn't a difference. I don't have the little plastic film on it either lol

I'm not sure if this had already been addressed but is anyone having trouble sending picture (or video, etc.) mms on the eris? I'm currently using handcent and it would not send any picture texts. The sending green bubble keeps spinning no matter how long I leave it. Then the text becomes "undelivered."
I also tried sending picture mms with the native message app and it got sent but the people I was trying to send it to said they didn't receive anything.
I wanted to know how do you add a picture to a contact ?
I have a picture saved in my photos, how do I add that picture to the contact, so when they call their picture shows up?
so i decided i want to use the picture frame widget again after not using it for a while... but now when i go to choose a photo it uses astro as the browser this would be ok but as soon as I select which picture i would like to use it says: "Sorry! The application Photos has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."Then it force closes and I can't use the widget.Anyone else using Astro with this problem? Any solutions on how to use the default picture browser instead?
