The title says it all, I'll open my SNESoid (or NESoid) and the buttons will be on the screen sometimes and they won't be on the screen sometimes. It doesn't appear to be a "settings" issue. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

What do you think is the best way to map the buttons for these two emulators (NESOID AND SNESOID). I'm having trouble finding a solution. Your help as always is appreciated...and yes I searched, but could only find info on the actual droid which has an actual keyboard not just a virtual one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i was having issue with my favorites disappearing. It was a pain with my Favorite People widget.It has to do with your sync. To fix it, you have to go to the gmail website and add your favorites to the website. If you don't it will keep syncing your favorites with the site, thus the disappearing. I would think it should be a 2 way sync, but I guess not. Either that or this is a syncing bug

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo my End Call button no longer locks the phone today. I always hit it because I am trying to squeeze all I can from the battery. I did install the Not Call Log app because I wanted the button to return to Home instead of the default, but I did uninstall it. If I long press the button, it still brings up the menu to Power Off, Airplane mode, etc. It just does not quick lock the phone, which I really like.
More info: The end call button does re-lock the phone (turn off the screen) when it is already locked, but still does nothing when I am sitting on the Home screen (when I really want to lock the thing).
My end call button is getting worn out. Anyone know of an app, or any way to either use the start call, or trackball button turn on the phone?

My wife has the eris and doesn't like that the phone button drops her into a dialer and call log. She wants to change it to pull up her contacts, but I can't seem to find a way to change what that button does.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Eris that I have been using the premium version of SNESoid on for some time with out any cpmlaints or issues. Recently the save function has stopped working. I'm not sure if this issue was caused by the Android 2.1 update, but since my update just happened on Saturday I kind of suspect it. Anyone else have any ideas as to what caused this or if it can be fixed?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnybody out there see what I'm seeing? It seems as if the power/sleep button is a bit more recessed than the phone/talk button that pops out a little more. Could this just be from heavier use since I am always hitting the sleep button after phone use? Or, is this a HTC design to prevent you from hitting the button as easily. Not really a huge difference here just enough to feel if you run your finger over both of them. Wondering if it will get lower over time? Good ol' ocd flaring up again.
View 12 Replies View RelatedReceived my 2.1 OTA at 1:36 AM last night and ever since, I can't manually lock my phone by short pressing the power button anymore. I thought maybe this was a Spare Parts issue, since I had changed the Power Button behavior on 1.5 using Spare Parts (when I pressed Power from any screen, it would return me Home; pressing from Home would Lock). So, I uninstalled Spare Parts, but this didn't remedy my problem. Any advice?
View 3 Replies View RelatedInstalled the Snesoid and GameBoid on it but they are not working. I open up either application with a message 'No ROM loaded. Press Menu for more options.' I put my games in a folder called Roms. When I select the folder to load a game, it recognises that the games are on there but as soon as I choose a game it loads for a couple of seconds then the whole application closes returning me to my home screen on my phone. What's up with that? I want to play Mario Kart dammit! P.S Is there any way to stop the phone's time syncing with my PC time. It's doing my head in!
View 6 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone to the latest ROM using the script in the stickied thread. My google contacts re-synced when the phone started, and all was fine. I then proceeded to make a few edits to my contacts. That's when I noticed that they were disappearing from my "people" list. I can still pull them up by typing the name on the dialer screen, and I can still send email to them, but they just don't show up on the list. This also happens with newly-created contacts. I've tried forcing a manual sync, rbooting, editing the contacts through gmail on my computer, and nothing has worked.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday I flashed XTRSense4.0.6.1 to both mine and my wife's Eris. My phone has been running great with no problems whatsoever. This afternoon my wife calls me freaking out because her contacts have disappeared... all of them. She said they were all there this morning and all of a sudden they're just gone. I told her to go to Settings, Accounts/Sync, and to Sync Google but that didn't help. She rebooted her phone, synced again and still nothing. Finally I walked her through the process of rebooting into recovery mode, wiping cache, doing a factory reset, and finally a NAND restore which got her back to pre-XTRSense and all her contacts came back without issue. What could have caused this issue and what can I do to prevent future occurrences? I'd really like to flash XTRSense back to her phone because it seemed to fix her other issues but not if its going to cause more problems than it fixes.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've seen that others have SNESoid on their DX's but when I installed SNESoid light on my DX and went to freeroms.com I get a black screen.Here's is what I did.
1.Installed SNESoid lite and ASTRO
2. Went to freeroms.com
3. Direct DLed ROM .zips of FF3, Super mario bros. to my phones SD.
4. Opened with ASTRO went to download folder and extracted in same folder.
5. Opened SNESoid lite and it went to download folder. It only showed the zip folders and not the actual roms.
6. so I clicked on the .zip folder but I either get a black screen or really screwy lines.
So Google has finished their announcement and it's Chrome to Phone & Google's One-Button Voice Actions. Basically my question is are these features that would just need to be turned on in the ROMs or are these things going to be released in future Froyo updates? I understand for Chrome to Phone it's going to be a plugin in Chrome and a download from the market for the phones.

After doing some research I've found Chrome to Phone available in the Market and in the Chrome Extensions. Works perfectly
Initially got the package signed incorrectly error for the Voice Search, did a nand backup, used titanium to uninstall the default voice search, rebooted and installed voice search through the market. Worked perfectly. I'd assume this would work for any Froyo ROMs but haven't tested.
Do you guy think that the 2.1 update will help smooth out the framerate on the SNESoid or does it require overclocking? Also I tried out a Link to the past just a couple minutes ago and noticed that the layers are all wrong. Like when it was raining, I couldn't see the actual landscape and was just guessing where I was going. Any idea on how to correct the layering issue?

I have this weird problem. When I add peoples phone numbers and sync with Face book sometimes I lose the phone number or they disappear all together I save my contacts via goggle, I'm not sure if any other way would make a difference. Also, I woke up this morning and my number has disappeared, maybe my phone is trying to tell me something.
