Sep 4, 2010I can't seem to send any g mail. I can recieve but sending's not happening anyone heard of this? any help would much appreciated. BTW i'm on Kaos froyo V30 , no overclocking

No hyphens or special characters, just the 10 digit number@vtext.com I even tried sending a text from a hotmail account to my vtext address - no go.Is anyone able to send a text to your own phone through the web site? May 13, 2010For some reason, whenever I send out an email to someone that's not in my contact list, it appears as a new contact under the people app, with the email address listed. Well, I did the factory reset and the phone is back up and running (battery still sucks, though) but I can't seem to send any text messages.

Jan 14, 2010I had hard reset my phone earlier on because I'd accidentally locked myself out of it, stupid as it sounds. I was playing with the lock screen and had accidentally set up a random lock code which I was unable to remember.Ever since then, I've not been able to send or receive text messages. I can make calls, go on the web and and even update my Facebook status from my Contact Card. Any suggestions? I've soft reset the phone, hard reset it once more, taken out the battery, all that good stuff.When I try to send a message, I get this Error code coming up a moment later.

Mar 21, 2010I can not send pictures via text message with the stock message app, Handcent, or Chomp. I had been using Handcent for the past 2 1/2 months or so just fine, it would send pics. Then all of a sudden about a week ago it just stopped. It just kept showing the turning green circle over and over until the sending failed. I updated it, I uninstalled it, I reinstalled it. I tried Chomp. I tried the stock app. None of them will send a pic to another phone or to an email. I can send pics to facebook with the facebook app. The stock email app will send an email with a pic attached however.

Nov 18, 2009My wife sent an email to her work email. It did not arrive and now she keeps getting a "unable to send mail (hotmail)" notification. And it wont stop. She gets the notification every 5 min or so. I deleted the outgoing message but that didn't fix it. I turned notifications off and then then on and that didn't fix it.

Jun 25, 2010My phone has been trying to send an email from gmail for 2 days. it keeps saying unable to send and I don't know how to stop it. If I click on it, it takes me to the edit email account screen. When I go through the steps it says authentication failed even though my gmail account is fine. I don't know how to fix this. Also when I go to all programs I have 2 internet, 2 maps, and 2 navigator icons that weren't there before and won't delete.

May 20, 2010First off I've got to say the 2.1 upgrade really improved my phone's speed and completely fixed the dialer lag I used to have. I'm very satisfied. My only issues are 2 small problems: 1. My ring tone (same as before upgrade) fades if I pick up the phone to answer it....if I leave the phone on the counter it plays normally. 2. Where is the "send call to voice mail" option? I don't get that option anymore when saving a call to contacts.

It comes up as Network not responding or some kind of Radio Interface Source error...also when I make phone calls it always comes up restricted. Aug 15, 2010Even after numerous factory resets, through both the Volume Down+Send+End and Settings>Privacy>Factory Reset methods, my Eris has been unable to send or receive texts, and will not allow me to send or receive calls. When I try to text, I get an SMS error with Cause Code: 34 and Error Class: 3. When I try to call, I get an automated error saying that my phone can't be authenticated at this time, and am advised to call #8899. Even after doing so, I get the same authentication error. Wi-Fi seems to work correctly, and my Google and Facebook accounts all sync pretty much perfectly. Is anyone else having any kind of problem like this? And, either way, does anyone know of any possible alternatives that may fix the problem besides a total replacement of the phone?
