View 5 RepliesIs anyone getting the same problem as me when trying to upload photos taken with the camera to Google Photos, directly (from Photo->Menu->Share->Picasa). Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, all of my incoming picture messages are being resized to 3kb. It never used to do this; it started when I installed Handcent. But even after uninstalling Handcent, I still receive tiny pictures. It's driving me insane. Anyone know anything about this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if it'd be possible for someone to change the default size of the Google keep widget. I know that you can do so in your launcher but Aviate doesn't let you change the size and it's ridiculously tiny.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm still new to Sprint.. I used to be a Verizon guy for 8 years. And I'm used to send and receive pictures with the original resolution they were taken. But I've notice that Everytime I get a Pic msg with my moment they're ridiculously resized. Same thing happens if I send one they get a crappy sized pic.
Is there a way around it?
Is it sprint?
Or is it Android?
I'm in the middle of developing a new soft keyboard. But I got trouble. When I input some text, my soft keyboard pops up and the background is resized, which is not an option I want. I'd like to force the background to keep its current state even though the keyboard pops up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a PNG file that is 32x32 pixels. I use 8 of these as drawables in a row for my app. These drawables are not in the hdpi, mdpi, or ldpi folders. I've found that when starting any of the 3 standard size emulators, the screen view with all 8 drawables looks pretty much the same.
I note that the ldpi emulator I'm using (QVGA) has a resolution of 240x320. 8 x 32 = 256, so since I can see all my drawables (and space in-between) I'm betting something is changing their size.
I've read the Supporting Multiple Screens document at the Android developers page, but I still don't understand what is actually happening. Could you put your own words to explain what is happening to the size of my drawables and how the SDK knows to automatically modify them?
But ever time i send a photo using mms it resizes the image to a really low size way below 300k which seems to be the max size you can send in a mms. how do i send the photo in a text or mms and the phone not auto resizeing the photo. i no i can use email to stop the resize

View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if it is possible to geo-tag photos without enabling GPS. Surely it should be able to do this via cell positioning? Obviously if I am in-doors, I cannot usually get a GPS lock + it takes a while to lock on, if I just want to point and click but still geo-tag, can I not just use cell location?

I have added photos to my Desire but Gallery does not recognise them until I reboot or remount the card.Is there a way to force it to pick up changes to folders outside of the camera DCIM structure?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not a big fan of iTunes but one thing I do like is that it makes small versions of all your photos purely to put on your iPhone/iPod. I have tried the new HTC Sync but it just uploads the full res version of my photos. Does anyone know of any sync software for putting photos onto the Desire/Android? I guess I could use iTunes itself but I don't really want to use it at all, especially just for photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just been doing a bit of exploring via Astro and have noticed that my photos are stored in a folder titled DCIM.Inside this folder there are a few folders and loose files.thumbnails - contains a few files but I have no idea what they are. There are 13 random photos (not in their own folder) which were in the gallery when I received the phone. An empty Camera folder - what is this for? 100 Media - A folder with all the pictures I have taken.Could somebody clarify what the .thumbnails folder and Camera folder are for? Also, can I "tidy up" this area of my phone, and would the phone still recognise and find the files? Could I create a folder which newly taken photographs will automatically be located?

Are there any apps to help me, or is it one of those annoying Android things?

View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen looking through my HTC Desire's photos settings I only found integration with flickr and facebook.
I recall the N1 having the option to integrate with picasa aswell. Currently I use Picasa Tool Pro as a solution, but I'd much rather have it with the rest of my photos.
I tried setting photos for my contacts today, but it seems I can only add photos for my email contacts and not my sim card ones? It's only my contacts on my sim that I want to add photos to! Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a way I can do what I want to without adding everyone's email address?
