View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to upload photos from my Desire to my Picasa web albums and having no success. When i use the share function on the phone I am asked to create a google account or sign in. As I have a google account which i use for my google calender, contacts and tasks I try signing in with that. That is as far as i get, after it trying to connect to the google server and returning to the picture of the photo i wanted to upload. My desire is still syncing ok with calender, contacts and tasks so the account is accessible but not to picasa it seems. I have downloaded Picasa 3 to my laptop and can upload photos from there fine.Any pointers/solutions will of course be gratefully received.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs anyone getting the same problem as me when trying to upload photos taken with the camera to Google Photos, directly (from Photo->Menu->Share->Picasa). Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just switched over from iphone and ipad. I am getting my tablet today to go along with my galaxy s4. If i buy an app on my phone does it auto sync to my tablet as well?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I set up my tablet it synced a few apps from the play store, but since then I have installed a bunch of other ones on my phone that I want on my tablet.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm only getting started writing Android applications, and am stuck at how to connect a couple of Android tablets (one from Medion, the other from Archos) to Windows (XP and 7) so that Basic4Android can upload applications.
When I connect those tablets, Windows just adds them as external drives.I guess the AVD Manager is only used to create emulators, not connect an Android device to Windows through USB. Do I need to run another SDK application? Install a specific USB driver?
I noticed that recently any photo uploads have the caption "Uploaded via Facebook Mobile" instead of "Uploaded via Facebook for Android".This changed sometime between May 10 and 15: Sometime between May 10 and 15 the Facebook Android app has c on Twitpic. Can anyone help me with this issue? and is anybody having the same problems as I'm having?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Samsung Moment and would like to upload my photos to the My Pictures folder on my PC. When I upload to "Upload to PC/ or Gmail" it goes right to Gmail but I'd like to put this somewhere else so I can put them easily into folders. Also, any word on when Adobe will be available for the Moment? I'm dying to play Scrabble on my phone.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got the captivate (had the backflip) and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to upload photos to facebook. With the backflip it was so simple, take the pic, tap share, tap facebook.I tried that on this phone but when I do share my options are picasa, bluetooth, gmail, email, allshare, messaging and online locker. And when I log onto facebook through the website or app there is no option for uploading photos.I have googled this topic to death and find absolutely nothing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm having some difficulty with sending photos to facebook. If I take a photo using the option in the facebook app, the photo will be a thumbnail size when it gets sent to facebook. However, when I take the photo through the camera app and then do share to facebook, it will be full size. Is this just me or is there a way around this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a Galaxy Note 10, which I am hoping will work well for art-making purposes.I need to be able to transfer files to and from my tablet. I need to be able to import some files I've started on my computer and then transfer my drawings back to said computer.
I've never used an android device before. I thought there would be a simple built-in option for this, but it seems that there's not. Fine, so I have to download an app, which is fine. I've downloaded several, but nothing is working the way I want.
I have a folder on my computer that is shared on the network. Every other computer in the house has no problems finding it, grabbing files from it, or putting new files on it. But I can't find any app that lets me browse the shared folder like any other (windows based) computer can do. I tried looking this up and I'm getting direction for setting up an ftp client. The folder is already shared using a common and well-known protocol. I don't have to put in a username and password to find it. I don't have to select the IP address for my computer. I don't have to select protocols or anything like that. It's a standard windows home network. Why can't I find anything that will just accept that and look for that?
Explore and transfer network files without having to have me set up all this server/ftp crap. I want an app that finds that stuff automatically. Preferably one that also works as a standard file explorer app.
Is there a way to protect certain files on this phone like my photos, call log and etc. I noticed in my files there is an option to show hidden files but how would i go about hiding files
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just loaded some mp3 files onto my Nexus 7.
My daughter has an account on the same device and I'd like to give her 'read only' access to the mp3 library in my account (rather than loading the same files into her account and wasting space with 'duplicate mp3' files).
None of the file manager apps I've tried so far seem to have the ability of setting file permissions.
OK, here's is my somewhat convoluted question: I am considering the purchase of an android tablet (Dell Venue 32 gb)...I want to take it on a vacation and use it, in addition to GPS and Email, to back up the files from my camera's SD card...Is this a practical idea and what would be the best way to go about it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI`m looking for an app to lock two files on the desktop of an tablet.
The company i work for is looking to supply their prospects with a tablet (for promotional reasons offcourse) . The idea is that a video and a pdf are locked to the desktop of that tablet.
Alternatively a solution that would periodically copy the shortcuts back to the desktop would be an option aswell.
I have an Acer Iconia A500 tab, rooted. The problem is everytime I try to copy an MKV file to the SD inside my tab my windows crashes and restarts. I tried copying other files to the SD and it works like the charm, but when it comes to MKV files it crashes. Note I can copy large files into the SD just not MKV files This makes me mad for a good reason. I've tried and tried solutions, but seem to not come to a happy understanding.
P.S! I have ICS also I do not know why I can't mount my external HDD to the tab either.
Is there a program I could use to access my system files on my tablets from my computer? It is android base, I change a few from my tablet and now I need to change them back but I can't access them from my tablet anymore. It is a Impression I10a-LE tablet...
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I got our Nexus7 tablet over a year ago, I was happy to find that it would accept WAV files as notifications and ring tones since I had a number of custom WAV files that I wanted to use for different needs.
In addition I used SmartVoiceRecorder to generate a custom voice ringtone for my wife (who has difficulty hearing and finds it easier to hear alerts recorded with my voice) and it worked fine using the WAV files that it generates.
Over the last couple of days, her phone stopped ringing. Her settings showed that the ringtone was set to "none"
Using SmartVoiceRecorder to reset my recordings to "ringtone" didn't work either. Copying the WAV files to the ringtone directory and selecting them using ES File Explorer also didn't work.
None of the above actions triggered any warning or complaint, but the current ringtone was reset to "none" after each attempt without warning or notification.
I checked the SMS message tone and found that it had also reset to none.
Not sure if there is an android app to convert WAV to an android acceptable ringtone, but Mobile Media Converter - The Audio and Video converter you want. is a nice little PC converter that creates mobile compatible audio files... I tried AMR and OGG outputs, and both worked as Nexus ringtones.
I need to recover deleted files from my Android Tablet internal storage folder ( /mnt/sdcard ). This is mounted like a fuse filesystem. I've run Hexamob Recovery PRO from Android Market in my smartphone and it recovered very good some deleted files from my vfat storage folders (both internal and external sd card).
But the smartphone version is not running correctly in my Motorola Xoom because it don't detect internal storage (fuse). I asked to developers about a tablet version and they said me they are working in a tablet version but fuse file system is very hard to manage. Any other app to recover my deleted files from a fuse file system?
Notice on my SD card a bunch of random folders and files that are from old apps I've uninstalled, should I just ignore them?
