View 8 RepliesIs anyone getting the same problem as me when trying to upload photos taken with the camera to Google Photos, directly (from Photo->Menu->Share->Picasa). Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to upload photos from my Desire to my Picasa web albums and having no success. When i use the share function on the phone I am asked to create a google account or sign in. As I have a google account which i use for my google calender, contacts and tasks I try signing in with that. That is as far as i get, after it trying to connect to the google server and returning to the picture of the photo i wanted to upload. My desire is still syncing ok with calender,contacts and tasks so the account is accessible but not to picasa it seems. I have downloaded Picasa 3 to my laptop and can upload photos from there fine.Any pointers/solutions will of course be gratefully received.

When I upload to "Upload to PC/ or Gmail" it goes right to Gmail but I'd like to put this somewhere else so I can put them easily into folders. Also, any word on when Adobe will be available for the Moment? I'm dying to play Scrabble on my phone.

With the backflip it was so simple, take the pic, tap share, tap facebook.I tried that on this phone but when I do share my options are picasa, bluetooth, gmail, email, allshare, messaging and online locker.And when I log onto facebook through the website or app there is no option for uploading photos.I have googled this topic to death and find absolutely nothing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI finally found how to stop this tool from uploading pics automatically. I was so relieved to find this solution because Picasa was starting to upload pics that I don't even remember taking.
On your phone: go to---->
1) settings
2) accounts and sync
3) click on your gmail account
4) uncheck Sync Picasa Web Albums (and for good measure if you want also uncheck Sync Instant Upload and Sync Google Photos)
5) now hit back and sync all
Now go into your gallery and the folder that says 'Instant Upload' should be gone.
I'm having some difficulty with sending photos to facebook. If I take a photo using the option in the facebook app, the photo will be a thumbnail size when it gets sent to facebook. However, when I take the photo through the camera app and then do share to facebook, it will be full size. Is this just me or is there a way around this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedLooking for an app that will automatically upload photos and videos to my PC since the last time I uploaded. i.e. I want to be able to come home, flip the wifi button on the droid and have it auto sync all the photos and videos I've taken to my pictures and video directory that were taken since the last time I synced. Looking in the market and can't find anything obvious that would do this.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFirst time trying to send a photo via text message (MMS). On any number of my previous phones, the phone would automatically resize the image so that it wasnt too large to send. That does not appear to be happening on the Eris. I sent one photo, and it was nearly 1100kb. Then another photo I attempted to send would not attach, because it said it was too large (it was like 1250kb in size). So, is there a way to have it automatically resize a photo that is being sent via MMS? Or will I need to do that manually beforehand with an app from the Market, like Picasa or something of the sort?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe photos app on my note 3 has an option to automatically backup my photos to Google +. I don't use Google + or any other social media for that matter. I just want to make sure my photos will be private and no one else will be able to view them. I would rather jus backup to Google drive, but that doesn't seem to be an option without the use of a 3rd party app

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I recently got a Droid X which I love, but I am having a really tough time emailing photos and videos. I'm looking for something that will automatically shrink photo's when I want to email them. The iPhone does this automatically. I am constantly sending pics of my kids to my parents but at 2.5 MB per pic it take WAY too long to send (if the email client even allows it). I am aware that I can resize each and every photo and THEN send them, but that seems very time consuming and unnecessary. Is there anything that will automatically shrink photo's when I attempt to email multiple pics?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know this has been asked about the Motorola Droid, but I was wondering the same thing about the HTC Desire, Uploading you tube videos via 3g network. When I've taken a video using my phone, I have the option to share it by sending it to You Tube (annoyingly this creates another Google account on my phone, but never mind). More annoying is the fact that it waits until I'm connected to a wi-fi network before allowing me to upload it. Surely if I want to use my data allowance to upload videos to You Tube, that's my business, but I can't find a setting that allows me to change this. According to HTC, this is a change that T-Mobile must have made. I'm not convinced by this, but I'd like to know what other people have found, and whether there are any easy ways around it. Still being fairly new to Android, I don't fancy rooting the phone. I'm using Android 2.1.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWell i think I'm finally losing the plot, i could have sworn that ive taken video before on my phone (Desire 2.1 unrooted), hit the share button and uploaded it to Facebook, but no matter what ive tried i cant get it to do i anymore, please can someone test on their phone? Also the recording formats on the video are MP4 and 3GP, yet when i record in MP4 the file extension it still 3GP, is this right, or has my phone also had a mental breakdown
