Feb 17, 2013A day ago my phone was running the Optimus Bean custom rom based on v10i and it was running perfectly.
When I flashed this rom I had no problems with the kdz flasher. So yesterday I decided to flash the SimpleBlue rom by snx based on v10k, but everytime I get this error:
"wparam 100 lparam 4010" or "MOD UptestEX MFC application has stopped working".
I thought it might be the custom rom that was corrupt or something so I tried to flash my phone back to stock v10i. Still getting the same errors (with every .kdz file I use). Since my phone is stuck in the emergency screen I can't do anything but use the kdz flasher.

Sep 15, 2012I have an LG Optimus S that I am trying to root, however I can't get it to connect to my PC. My brother has the same device and his connects fine right away to my system, however mine does nothing but charge when connected (used same drivers, PC, chord, etc.)
I tried restoring it to factory settings and no luck. Later took it to Sprint and he just re-updated the software and it connected right away to their PC. Then as soon as I got home it didn't connect again.
Also tried with my work laptop. His connects, mine doesn't. Could there be a reason why mine didn't work as soon as I got back from the store?
I made sure that the settings from by brothers phone matched mine and verified that the software is identical.

I'm using a HTC Desire, rooted and flashed with a ROM from Alex-V Android Version 2.3.3 with the 2.6.35.8 Kernel.
I have two bluetooth devices:
MM100 Stereo Headset from Sennheiser
BT-Version: 2.0 + EDR
Protocolls: HSP, HFP, A2ADP, AVRCP
and the Hands free car kit Parrot MK6000 BT-Version: 1.2 Protocolls: HSP, HFP, AADP, AVRCP
I can pair both devices with my Desire and the latest paired device would connect automatically to audiosystem for media and telefone when switched on. The problem is, that the first paired device would not connect automatically to my desire and when it is connected manually it would only connect to the audiosystem for media not telefone. I can't force it to connect with audiosystem for telefone. I checked and un-checked the check-boxes for both connections in every combination
Remark: I don't want to connect both devices at the same time. I know that this is not working
With the original HTC Rom I doesn't had this problem. Both devices would pair and connect perfect.

Sep 26, 2010I was rooted fine with unrevoked forever. I wanted to try a ROM than required me to install the newest version of hboot so I did that. Well I didn't like that ROM so I tried to flash a nandroid restore but it didn't take. So I reinstalled the pc36img that I used when I rooted my phone. Then I rebooted my phone. Now it booted like its not rooted! I don't have superuser app and when I try to reboot into recovery I get a red triangle over a phone.
When I boot into hboot it says I have s-off but I have no idea how to get my phone back to the way it was. Under system info it says I have firmware version 2.1-update1 but I try to look for a froyo update and it says there are none available. I was going to just unroot with the s-on tool but that requires going into recovery which I can't do. What do I do toget my root back!

and it said it was successfully rooted. I can execute su from adb shell (and the phone pops up saying that unknown has been granted superuser). But I don't have flash_image in /system/bin so I can't flash a recovery image, and I tried the instructions in the link in this post:
What am I doing wrong: BootLoader/Flash_Image/Recovery Image (basically download the flash_image, mount system as rw, and push it in to /system/bin) but it still doesn't work. The mount seems to work (doesn't give any error messages) but the adb push command gives: failed to copy 'flash_image' to '/system/bin/flash_image': Permission denied
