Is it somewhat possible to have fastboot installed as an apk on my tablet (Android) in order to flash things on a smartphone plugged in that tablet.
Scenario is: wife wants my notebook; I want her tablet. If I could use adb and fastboot from the Android tablet, I could really do everything with it and the swap may happen

We can setup a vnc software or use remote desktop in windows 8 to access it on any android tablet with a vnc software.I have installed windows 8 on my pc and I do not have a touchscreen.I have a 10.1 inch android tablet. I have setup remote desktop on windows 8 and can access my pc's display on my tablet. But it can be used only with the mouse pointer given on screen. When I try to slide my finger on the screen for example, to navigate in the new start screen, instead of scrolling, the display of the screen moves and the blank space appears. This is because the vnc app is designed to work with a pc os that requires mouse.
But since this is windows 8, optimised for touchscreens, I want to use my tablet as the touchscreen monitor for windows 8 to use it as a tablet. I will keep my pc on and access it o n my tablet. Is this possible? Does vnc software for android that supports touch input for windows 8.
Is there a file on the tablet that holds the names of all installed apps? One that is readable to copy off so I know what apps i've installed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased this Zync Dual 7 Plus(Haipad HD 7 Zync Edition) (Zync Z930 Plus in the Manual) and became fascinated by the world of Android OS. My problem is I downloaded Chainfire 3D app from Playstore as recommended by my friends. After installing, it require a reboot so I restarted the tablet and then I'm stuck on the boot screen logo. I manage to get to the recovery page using ADB reboot recovery command but my tablet only has a power button. There's no physical volume buttons everywhere I looked so there's no way I can reach the "wipe data/factory reset" option. ADB Devices command can detect the devices but it is giving me weird serial number as 0123456789ABCDEF, Fastboot is not detecting the device. USB Keyboard and touch functions are not responding when I'm in Recovery page.
What I have done so far...
I've read several solutions and one of them is to flash the tablet using the ROM provided by Zync support. DL it and open the RockChip Batch Tool but the tool is not detecting my device so I can't upgrade.
Also DL the LiveSuitPack 1.07 but also, It is not detecting the device and from the instruction given, you need to hold volume button again which I don't have.
I have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

Installation
- Download and extract Android SDK (let's say on the Desktop for the rest of the explanation)

i have root access, and full adb, but i cant get fast boot even with adb commands. i attempted to flash a faulty a20 tablet i had via sd install. and i obviously had a damaged flash, anyhow it wiped the tablet clean, the backlight still lights up. i can turn it on and off, and i can boot the boot loader.
is there anyway out of this, i want to install a recovery, but with no flashboot....
