General :: Error Fastboot Flash Recovery Due To Reboot
Jul 1, 2012I have an AT&T Atrix 4G and I wanted to imstall CM7.2.
I had the latest Atrix Android version on it. Then I followed the instruction at the cyanogemod wiki for the atrix. So I flashed the sbf (cyanodenmod wiki -> Motorola_Atrix_4G:_Full_Update_Guide).
The rsd lite flashing didn't succeed because the atrix rebooted and the programm couldn't switch into BP passtrougth, or so. At this point the device said something about 0x1000 no bootloader, but I could choose between rsd, fastboot and the other possibilities.
I booted into the fastboot mode and did an oem unlock. Now it says unlocked.
I booted again into the fastboot mode, and now it should be a simple

after that the device reboots and is in a boot loop
so i tried linux) The first time i tried the command everythings worked fine, but after reboot i chose.

I don't know if when I am using rsd lite to flash a complete image the phone reboots again and i have a hard brick.

Mar 1, 2013I used insecure boot and root trying to root my phone, which was a huge mistake as i noticed a few minutes later since i cant startup anymore and only get into bootloader.
Now I'm trying to flash my stock rom back.
My CID is VODAP102 and my Version is 3.14.161.27 so i downloaded the rom and tried "fastboot flash boot boot.img" the result is:

Aug 6, 2010So after being dumb and installing the 2.1 leak I finally got root! Yay! But now of course my trackball is acting up really badly and I want to unroot to try to get it swapped out at Verizon. I've followed jcase's instructions successfully up to the fastboot command section. I'm getting and error "Failed (remote: not allowed)". Obviously I am in fastboot mode on my phone. General :: Paranoid Android Hybrid Properties
Jun 25, 2013I just installed the Paranoid Android 3.60 ROM that I downloaded via this link [URL] ..... I am using a Sprint Galaxy Nexus.
The problem I am running into is with the "hybrid properties" in the settings. Everything else with the ROM has worked wonderfully, but I believe the Hybrid is the main reason to run this ROM and I cannot access it. Any time i click the Hybrid Properties in settings, I get "Unfortunately, settings has stopped responding." I have reinstalled and wiped factory and dalvik/ caches.

Installation
- Download and extract Android SDK (let's say on the Desktop for the rest of the explanation)
- Add "Android SDK Platform-Tools" with android SDK Manager

- extract it in android-sdk/platform-tools/
Configuration
Next you need to update the PATH for tools/ and platform-tools/ folder.
- Open Terminal app and type

Apr 29, 2010I can't figure out exactly why this fails. The application has android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions. I can create normal files with exactly the same name in the same location, but pipe creation fails. The pipe in question should be accessible from multiple applications. I suspect that noone can create pipes in /sdcard. Where would it be the best location to do so? What mode mast should I set (2nd parameter) Does application need any extra permissions?

May 4, 2014i have root access, and full adb, but i cant get fast boot even with adb commands. i attempted to flash a faulty a20 tablet i had via sd install. and i obviously had a damaged flash, anyhow it wiped the tablet clean, the backlight still lights up. i can turn it on and off, and i can boot the boot loader.
is there anyway out of this, i want to install a recovery, but with no flashboot....

Is there a soft keyboard out that has alt, ctrl, tab, shift, and a pipe?
It would also need multitouch and/or some sticky keys option to be able to utilize them. (like being able to press ctrl+k)
I don't care about swype or any "super awesome" keyboard with gigantic keys. I'll deal with typos if it means I can keep my evo and still get around in shells remotely without having to carry around a bluetooth keyboard (whenever cyanogen or somebody gets BT HID working).
I don't care about auto correction. I don't care about text prediction. I don't care if you can put a Hello Kitty theme on it. I don't even care if you're forced to use a Hello Kitty them to use it. I just want a keyboard that works as a full keyboard.

Screenshot showing adb clearly works prior to bootloader, but it stops working after going into bootloader. It seems to lose connection to my phone once it is in the bootloader. I tried this multiple times.
