I have bought an iocean7 elite before same days for my daughter The mobile (MTK 6589T) and I have I major problem: suddenly the screen stop to respond at touch. I think maybe it is a software problem. I take of the battery many times but it does not happen anything. The mobile starts bat with totally freeze screen.I try to connect it with or without battery in different pc but the windows don't recognize it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having temporary screen freezes when I want to take out my HTC HD2 with tytung's ICS version. When I press the buttonss they light up but the screen stays black. I can still receive phone calls and connect it to a PC, where the PC recognizes the phone. Sometimes after 20-30 minutes the wakes up like normal when I press a button.

I wanted to check the logcat, so I went to Dev options and enabled USB debugging: first master switch and then usb debug checkamark, but nothing happens.The phone remains connected as a MM device.
I'm using official 4.1.2 ROM and a rooted kernel.
This was reported in the other thread about X8 Issues, but thought to start a new one to gather feedback from users. It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.

My phone boots up OK then it goes to the activation screen but after a couple of seconds (10 - 30, seems random) the phone hangs. When it's at the activation screen it seem to connect to the cell service (Fido) but R in the status bar would indicates that it's roaming (clue?). I have to take out the battery to reboot. It's a T-Mobile G1 that I'm trying to get working with Fido (Canada). It's a phone I bought used (activated but locked) but then I reseted it to factory default which deactivated it. I unlocked it. I tried to activate it through wifi. Followed the instruction and downgraded it to rc29. I've tried different rc, different roms, same thing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I have a weird issue that my Incredible home screen is unresponsive when I plug it into a wall charger. Meaning that when it is plugged in I can tap the power button to turn the screen on but I can't slide or hit the home button to unlock. I have to unplug the phone to bring it out of lock mode.It seems to only do this when I use a cheap micro USB charger I bought off of Ebay ($2.50 shipped). When I went to the Verizon store they tried to replicate the problem with their Blackberry brand micro USB charger and the problem didn't come up.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo this morning, the alarm goes off on my Droid2 and everything is fine. About an hour later the screen froze and would not unlock or slide. It was absolutely frozen. I was using the stock charger last night. I took it by a Verizon store and the rep pulled the battery and then it started back up with no problem. The big problem is he took ATK (free pre installed version) and killed all the apps and proceeded to tell me how I had to do this. I said "dude, their was nothing running last night and I have not even downloaded any new apps, etc..." I just got the phone on Friday of last week. I really am not a fan of ATK and he tried to tell me if I don't do this, the phone will freeze.

I got my Eris a little over a year ago, so it's out of warranty, and it always had the occasional problem where it would either freeze when the screen was off, so I'd have to do a battery pull, or I'd take it out of my pocket to find that it was restarting.
It went through a few phases where it did both of those things a handful of times per day, then it stopped for a while, then started, then stopped.
Just recently, it's picked up again, and this is about 2 months after I rooted the phone, and until now, it's been great rooted. I've only really noticed this again though since I switched from KaosFroyo to CelebFroyo, but again, I also had these problems BEFORE I rooted too.
I have a few applications on my android that I cannot find the icons for to start them, the applications are not listed in the application key menu or on any of the 5 screens on my phone. I can only find them thru the settings menu if I tap setting> aplications >manage applications. not only is it frustrating I canot use them. I did find a somewhat long process for using them by typing the app name into google play yet However not only is that time consuming, any way to access the hidden icons?

I get this, which freezes my text messaging, every time I turn off my screen and then turn it back on to go to send a text. It's rather annoying, as it happens many times. I've read many other people having this problem, but their issue related to high volumes of stored texts. I deleted all mine, and the problem still persists. I turned off the phone and turned it back on, cleared the cache, and checked the task manager. I can't seem to find the issue. I have a Droid Pro running GB, and it happened just the other day. I only downloaded the Amazon Market App in the last few days I don't really want to download a free text app because I, personally, love the stock texting app.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm experiencing a problem with SwiftKey - the stock keyboard always shows up as the default after every boot, even though SwiftKey is enabled in settings. I read somewhere that a workaround is to freeze the stock keyboard using Titanium, and convert the SwiftKey app to a systems app. So my question is, how do I do that?

I know I can long-click on the correct entry in Titanium's App list to freeze an app, but specifically, what app name do I need to look for (is it Keyboard_english.apk?)
And how do I convert SwiftKey to a system app? I'm not even sure what this means. Do I just have to ensure it's located on internal storage (not SD card)?
I have several apps, paid and free, on my phone that I currently don't use. I could uninstall them, but I'd like to have them at hand in case I decide to use them again, and would rather not have to write them down or search for them again. Many of them additionally load automatically and have no options to turn that off, so I end up with a good 100M of RAM wasted.
I know paid apps will list as purchased in the market, er, Google Play, so I could easily find them again if I uninstall.
Is there any way to freeze apps so they don't autorun on my phone

This phone the first week started hanging up on people and is now doing it more often and i noticed while im on the phone before it hangs up on people it makes this weird clicking sound and cuts them off for like a second but only i can hear it , it does that a couple times then hangs up with no warning.
2. The past few days my Wi-fi and 4G will randomly turn themselves on i dont know why.

I plugged my phone into my laptop to sync my new music onto the laptop so ill always have it incase it doesnt save on the memory card because its done that before. but when i went to sync it none of my recently downloaded songs are showing up on Phone or SD card and i remember setting it to immediately save to SD card so i don't know whats wrong with it.

a week ago i bought new phone. Huawei Ascend G300. Everything was fine for a week but yesterday suddenly the phone freeze and i had to pull out the battery. After switching the phone on a screen for factory reset appears. Four lines of errors come up and the phone self formated itself. (error reading data, reading cache etc..). So i set it up again but it happens again today...First it was while i play modern combat 2. Second time when i was just scrolling thorough screens. The application WeatherBug Elite (process com.aws. android. elite) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again [Force Close]" This is on a LG GW620 (AKA LG Eve in the US I think) which is Android 1.5 Anyone else seeing this error?
