I just purchased WeatherBug Elite, and when I tried to install it, it gets stuck on "starting download.". It's been sitting like this for almost an hour. When I click refund, it says that my refund could not be completed.Has this happened to anyone before?

don't mean to waste time with a, perhaps, already-answered question but I searched the forums and cannot find a "full" answer to my question:what are the differences between the Weatherbug free app and Weatherbug Elite?
I just received a warranty exchange Samsung Vibrant, & I am currently in the process of putting all my apps onto it. I have the widget on my home screen. The widget seems to be working, but the "loading data please wait" message is still displayed in my notification drawer & the little circle of dots is still in the task bar up top.
I can't seem to find Tapatalk or WeatherBug Elite in the Android Market. What happened to them?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have been running WeatherBug Elite for six months without any problem, but the latest update has caused it to fail completely. On Startup of the App it just says "Sorry! The application WeatherBug Elite (process com.aws. android. elite) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again [Force Close]" This is on a LG GW620 (AKA LG Eve in the US I think) which is Android 1.5 Anyone else seeing this error? Any suggestions?

I don't see any setting to change it.When I open Weatherbug it takes me to last night's weather (labeled "tonight") and then today's weather shows up as Monday (not "today").

I have My location enabled, I have it reading off 3G towers instead of GPS, and I have the Weatherbug locator app. Also it is tracking me in the background. Nothing. I have 'My Location' as the default, but it doesn't change.
Only time that it updates is if I enable GPS following, then it gets it perfectly. Otherwise no dice.
Anyone have this problem as well?
I have the paid Weatherbug app and live in Austin, Texas. The value reported by weatherunderground, weather.com, my car, as well as those drive-by LED billboards, tend to be within a couple of degrees of each other (usually 1-2 at max).
Weatherbug however (and correspondingly the Weatherbug site) tend to report temperatures 4-6 degrees lower. I understand that temperatures can vary across a metropolitan area, but 4-6 degrees?
I realize it's their data collection source rather than the phone app itself, otherwise their website wouldn't agree with the phone, which would be an app problem. I also realize it might be geographically isolated, but it's certainly consistently wrong at both my home and my job (26 miles apart, on opposite ends of town).
It would be nit-picking, except for the fact that it's a paid app, and I already dislike their radar/map. This is one paid app I wish I'd skipped.
Can someone confirm whether weatherbug elite is in their 2.1 market. I never backed it up when I upgraded and now it can't be found in the market.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using Weatherbug Elite since soon after getting the Droid X. I'm running Launcher Pro Plus. I have always been able to resize the map widget of weatherbug to 3x3. Now (since last update I think) the widget sizes to about 2.5x2.5 from the standard 2x2 size. The other .5x.5 is grey screen. Has anyone else been having this problem or know if it can be fixed? I really like weatherbug but would like to fix this.

I can only find them thru the settings menu if I tap setting> aplications >manage applications. not only is it frustrating I canot use them. Download unsuccessful - Cannot Download. The content is not supported on the phone.
After looking into this it became apparent that the PHP Magic, that handles the downloads from the website, recognises the file as a .zip file rather then a .apk file and sends the it a .zip, that the phone does not recognise.
Does anyone know a way to get PHP Magic to recognise the file as an apk so that file extension does not get changed and the phone can recognise it?
I'm trying to set up Dropbox on my phone in order to automate some actions, but I'm having trouble with one step. Primarily, I'd like for Dropbox to be main download location for files from Dolphin, Steel, and Browser. I can't find an easy way to make this happen, and it would be awesome if I could get it to work out.
