View 2 RepliesI installed kasty-cube_u30gt_h-41-01 on my cube u30gt but find that there is a slight delay between the units sound output and the sound coming from the TV, is this normal? or is it just my ears echoing All else seems fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe widgets on my Cube U9GT 2 tablet running on Android 4.0.3 / Ice Cream Sandwich are huge. Please check out the attached screenshots.
I am using the default ICS launcher. I could not resize them by tapping and holding - there would not be any widget resize handles. I would like to "hack" the config files to shrink these widgets to a more sensible size.
My "internal" memory is almost filled up and i am trying to find a way to move apps such as games to "external" memory. Some apps i have tried failed because all they did was direct link to the "move to sd" option in settings which is obviously not available on my tablet.
I have rooted the device, i have titanium backup (which failed as well in moving them). It came with the 4.2.2 android.
The device i own is cube u55gt talk 79
I bought a cube u9gtv, called also u9gt5. This is very good product, but i haven't found any thread on the web on a 'how to root' the tablet. Any way to install a better rom .

i wanted to start android development on a real, but not too expensive device. URL....The manufactorer is CUBE:URL>....It works fine and i wanted to connect it to my PC, running windows 7.The problem is: I could not find any usb driver on the (chinese) manufactorer site.
In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?
I downloaded the google USB driver with the android SDK manager. The i selected "update driver" from the device maanger + selected the google usb driver download directory. This shows the message "K8GT_W could not be installed".
Is the Cube U9GT-2 compatible with CyanogenMod?
I've got Gingerbread on my tablet, but I'm not really satisfied with this OS, maybe because it's developed for smartphones and not tablets.
I have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

I have just began opengl programming in android and i am fairly new to opengl as well. I've been using nehe's opengl tutorials as well as insanitydesign's android ports.I successfully managed to create a cube with a single texture mapped to all its 6 faces. I even mapped multiple textures to different faces of the cube. But the way I did it was to create 6 faces seperately, have 6 seperate index and texture buffers and then using glBindTexture() with the selected texture for each face and then calling glDrawElements. Isn't there an efficient way around this. Should i use a cube map texture instead of a GL_TEXTURE_2D?

Is it possible to map a texture to all faces of a cube that has 8 vertices and 12 triangles for the 6 faces as described below?
// Use half as we are going for a 0,0,0 centre.

height /= 2;

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo awhile back my tablet was acting up and being slow. So I held down the power button to reboot it but when I try starting it back up again it goes through the normal process up until a black screen with the word android that is in blue and is flashing. It always stops here. Also whenever I plug it into my computer it just says that there is no driver found I have a MID M9000 9" Android 4.0 Capacitive Touch Tablet PC - 1.2Ghz, 8GB, 512MB, Wi-Fi (White) The picture is where the screen is stuck

I'm having an issue with my tablet, an Onda VI40 Ultimate. It was left off for a day or two, and when I plugged it in yesterday I got the battery screen, but it was in orange and showing that it needed to be charged. I figured I'd leave it alone for a few hours, then come back to it.
I left it plugged in for four hours, but when I came back to it the tablet is just giving the same message. I took out the charger, plugged it in again and got the same screen. I plugged it into my desktop pc via usb cable, and it just gives the same screen over and over. I got another charger, one exactly like it, and plugged it in. Same screen again. I pressed the reset button, same screen. I tried holding down the power button and volume up button, but no deal. I have the latest CM9 build installed on it, with ICS 4.0.4.
I have included below a terribly blurry photograph of what I'm seeing when I try to turn it on, or do anything with it. The tablet just never seems to charge no matter what I do, nor will it boot in any way.
Thinking about getting the moms a tablet for Christmas. Loving the reviews of the Asus Transformer but my original plan was getting her a 4G device so that she can use it even when wifi isn't available. Just wanted thoughts and opinions from those who have had experiences on either end and any recommendations.

Does Android 4.1 allow a device to serve as a Hands-Free Profile (HFP) device? Similar to the way many newer cars come with integrated Bluetooth/HFP, I would like to use my tablet (Nexus 7) as a front-end for my phone. When an incoming call comes in, the phone should relay the call over Bluetooth to the tablet; it should also allow the tablet to make outgoing calls via Bluetooth over the phone's network.
I am not interested in solutions such as GrooveIP, Talkatone, and SIPDroid. I am specifically looking for Bluetooth HFP.I wouldn't mind looking into developing such a product - but I first wanted to know if the HSP 1.6 host API was available in Android 4.1. I've seen resources stating it was available in ICS 4.0, but I believe this is to allow Android devices to connect to third-party HSP devices - I'm looking to do the opposite (i.e. have the Android device serve as the HSP host).
