I'm looking to increase the speed/acceleration of a bluetooth/usb mouse on my android tablet/phone/any other android device. I've noticed there are no such features/options when pairing the device in honeycomb/ICS (via settings). My device/s are rooted.

I'm looking for a way to connect my Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 with bluetooth, to serve as a bluetooth mouse on my Nexus tablet 7. I already try several application offers in the respective forums of my devices but nothing works.
Here are the characteristics of my two devices:
Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000: CM10, Android 4.1.2, kernel stock;
Asus Google Nexus 7: DIrty AOKP 2.6, Android 4.2.1, Kernel MKernel 3.1.10
Has discovered a way to rid of mouse acceleration in android?
Here is a good explanation of what mouse acceleration is:
Without mouse acceleration, the movement of the mouse and the movement of the crosshair will be 1 : 1.
With mouse acceleration, the movement is based on speed. Meaning, if you move the mouse 1 inch, slowly, it'll move one distance. If you move it still 1 inch, but fast, it'll move a lot farther.
I want to connect my Galaxy Nexus to a TV and control it from my Galaxy Tab via bluetooth. Every app that I found allows me to use my android device as a remote for a pc, not for other Android device...

I have been doing some research and found a lot of apps that allow you to use the tablet as a monitor for your computer. But that is not what I want to do. I was wondering if there was a way to setup the tablet so that I could move my mouse over from the monitor onto the tablet and control the Android Tablet with my computer's mouse and keyboard in the Android environment. So this way I can run things like Calendar, Email, Hangouts and other apps with my mouse and keyboard just by moving it over from my main displays like I can between a primary and secondary screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a cheap Speedlink bluetooth mouse from eBay and it works fine with a PC; it pairs up nicely with my Desire HD (running RCMix3d Runny v1.3 ROM) too.
Oddly however, the icon in the 'bluetooth settings' page is not of a mouse, it's an icon of a keyboard.
Pair it up and there's no mouse pointer; move the mouse to the right and the homescreen moves to the next screen - left and you go to the left screen.
Seems my mouse is recognised as a keyboard, oddly enough only emulating the arrow keys. When running Cyanogen 7, it was recognised as a mouse - so what's different here?
Is there anyway of jimmying Android to recognise my mouse as a mouse and not a keyboard?

I manage to use framebuffer as display WITHOUT turning off android UI using Linux Deploy, all went great but one thing missing is since android and ubuntu shares the same display, input problems pops in, I currently disable s-pen cursor on android so it will work best on ubuntu, as well as bluetooth keyboard.
one thing left out is my Bluetooth mouse, its bugging to have dual mouse pointer on screen whenever I boot ubuntu and each didnt match others in calibration.
if only I can disable android mouse cursor just the way I can disable s-pen cursor in android, this will make a perfect machine.. now I'm stuck using only s-pen as pointing device in ubuntu to avoid erratic mouse behaviour. I understand android have idc as input config, and I've located my dev/input for each devices, I'm looking for a way to disable mouse cursor in android to use it solely on linux.
I've been tethering my N1 with PDAnet and have been very unimpressed with the speed. I haven't done a speed test yet but it is noticeably slower than when I used to tether my Sprint BB Tour. BTW, it shows 3G and all four bars of reception. Anyone have any tips or tricks to increase the speed?

Is it ever so possible for the android OS to make it self look like a mouse/keyboard through bluetooth to allow remote control of a computer without having to have any HOST/SERVER software running on the computer being controlled? If this is possible, that means many devices like the PS3 and shi* would be able to be remote controlled by an android phone no matter what because bluetooth mice and keyboard are accepted by many devices.

I use my xperia z2 tablet at the gym to watch TV shows because the treadmill is even more uninteresting than the landscape around my place. I don't like to be hooked up to it via headphones because I don't want to accidentally pull it over. So - I use a bluetooth audio receiver I plug my headphones into, and they receive the audio from the tablet (which is paired with the receiver).
I would prefer to just use my phone in place of the receiver, because the receiver is cheap and doesn't work so well (and i cant believe it can't be done).
I thought two options could be:
1 using the phone as a bluetooth receiver, or
2 somehow using the wifi hotspot on the phone to enable the audio from the tablet to play through the phone.
Does something already exist or is it even possible?
Strange problem here with my Gadmei E8 3D tablet running ICS as I can install the usual Bluetooth GPS apps and connect to my Qstarz Bluetooth GPS and get a signal but that data doesn't make it to GPS apps or utils...I did enable mock locations in /settings/developper.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan anyone use Google Voice on their Moment? When I get an incoming call, it takes so long for the call to come through that by the time I try to press 1 to accept the call, its going to voicemail.
I've tried it several times and its physically impossible to answer the phone, listen to who's calling, get the number pad to come up (after waiting for the screen to wake up) and press 1 before it sends the caller to voicemail.
I really like this phone, but its lag is wearing on me (and I'm running one of Joeykrim's speedy kernals). I hope it speeds up with the upgrade to 2.1. If not I might have to switch to a Blackberry (blasphemy!! ) until Sprint comes out with a faster Android phone.
