Mar 24, 2013I have Tablet PC Q8 model gs701b. Firstly it worked properly but i decided to change rom. After i install new rom Front camera stopped to respond. Tablet didn't recognize it. (It thinks that front camera doesn't exist :X ) And the other problem is that rear camera doesn't work properly either. It shows show image such as in mirror :X I have tried to install on it many other roms Such as 1) TF-20121031-Q8-0329camera.zip (Doesn't work touchscreen) 2012092002_Q8_TF.zip (Doesn't work touchscreen). Q8-New-UPGRADE_FAST.zip- (Works) and Now I have OVO light Update 2 It works great but camera still doesn't work properly. :X what to do ?

Nov 2, 2013My Quest tablet is accidentally locked yesterday it asking for gmail and password but i forgot the gmail id and password.So after a long search i found lots of things such as unlocking tablet pattern lock,gmail lock,pin lock etc.These topics only be successfull only when the tablet is in recovery mode.So i tried to put my tablet into recovery mode by pressing vol + and power button.But there appears a android bot lying with red traiangle exlamation.So i simply tried to access recovery menu by pressing power and the vol + .But nothing happens neither than a dead android bot lying down with a red traiangle.

Feb 26, 2014I have an iPhone 5s clone MT6572.
I think I've screwed up my phone. I performed a format with SP Flash tools and flashed a new rom. Stupidly I didn't take a backup of my IMEI number or a proper backup of my rom! . Luckily I found a CWM backup of my MP0B_001 file in my NVRAM folder and have managed to get my IMEI number back!
I have a problem though, I cannot get a mobile network signal but I CAN detect the sim card. It detects the network name and my mobile number but not a signal. Please see the attached image.

Its need a factory reset, the problem, is that I get in recovery, but, only get the android with red exclamation, I try a lot of combination with buttons but cant get the menu, Try a wipe with adb but cant enter adb shell, its say - exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -
Cant enter fastboot or anything else. And dont know anything about this tablet, I search with cant find any rom or anything.

General :: Wrong Recovery Flash On Dreambook W7 Tablet?
Feb 9, 2012I have a Dreambook W7 and it looks like I've killed it.
That's what happened: I've tried to flash a new recovery, but did it in a wrong way, so now I can't turn the device on. In both variants (usual boot with "Power" button or boot in recovery mode) I just get an Android logo and nothing more.
Is it possible to somehow repair my tablet?
What was actually done wrong - I've used 'dd' command with 'of' set to "/dev/block/mmcblk0" with a wrong 'if' file.

Mar 13, 2013I just purchased a cheap 9.7" Android Tablet, Model AM09-D2. It came with ICS 4.0.4, has 16Gb ram and a dual core Cortex A9 CPU. I would like to know how I go about backing this thing up. It is rooted and has absolutely no blootwear installed. Is it possible to flash a custom recovery. Like TWRP or CWM to save a image of the rom. I have already did a data and app backup with Mybackup Pro. Now I would like to backup the Rom and maybe do dump. Is it possible and if so how? Not really that comfortable with ADB/fastboot, truthfully I don't understand what the difference is. I already have drivers setup for Samsung Galaxy Nexus on my Win 8 notebook. Will installing ADB/fastboot screw things up?

Dec 31, 2013I have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

Jan 2, 2014I tried to format it on my laptop via adapter, by right clicking SD Card F: going to format, selecting FAT32, checking the quick format box, and pressing start but whenever I place it back in my phone, it won't mount. It says it's damaged. I had the same problem when I first purchased the sd card but found a link online that showed me how to format it a different way,in another location, which worked perfectly. I recently removed the sd card for something though and encountered this same problem but am unable to find that same link. It's driving me nuts! I had to import everything to my laptop to make sure I didn't lose it all.
