i was using it for a while but suddenly a light flactuation shut down my PC.
and it got closed without saving work.. since then i can't run any demo application even correctly..
it says a lot of error in whole program !

I want to publish my application (ABC). Its an audiobook file(just for example.) wrapped as apk. When the user install this application it needs to check whether another application (XYZ) already installed or not. If not let the user know they have to install the application XYZ first before installing ABC.

The other day i was thinking while flashing a rom onto my galaxy nexus and i thought Why thres no one only android that can be installed in all the mobile phones, i mean like when you install linux you can choose between a lot but it can be installed on every computer it adapts itself to the computer. Why can't it be done in android?, its because that will take a lot of space?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have 10" MID tablets and I was messing around with the root files on 1 of them to try and get the 2nd camera to work but I messed it up and now I need to re install the operating system.
How can I create an exact image of the 2nd tablets installation so I can just boot from the image file on the broken tablet?I have searched all over and can't seem to find out how to do this. I have not even been able to see the hidden files on my PC. I tried android commander and similar programs but none of them recognized my device.
My phone (Cherry Mobile Bubble Android 2.3.5) was rooted before through Mobogenie's One Click Root. I don't have any problem my apps gaining root access. But i can't do software update, so i thought that's because of being rooted. So I did permanent root at SuperSU settings, and I have successfully updated my phone. But when I rooted my phone again, I can't gain root access through SuperSu. It always shows "Installation failed". I do have an update zip file on my sd cards root. But to no avail.

I only get my email to show up on my inbox on my phone ONLY when i open email. I had rooted the phone myself after reading threads here. I have also read here that the stock version isn't really that good so I was thinking of re-installing the sony version.
1. Would Sony allow re-installing android on a rooted phone?
2. If Yes, would I have to root the phone again after installation to remove the Sony crapware? (That would be a max pain as it took hrs the first time to figure out and I didn't make any notes)

Where I can download some other ROM and IMG, i had found some topic on this forum but i dont see where I can download ROM and IMG. This is my first Android toy.
I have a work email pop3, is not a g mail account. Well, i have putted to be notified in 1 hour if i have new emails the problem is the phone didn't check the emails and didn't have the notifications. only if i enter on the "Mail" application i have the new emails.. if i didn't enter, this didn't check the emails. What is the problem?. I have APN droid installed and i have deactivated the 3g 2g gaps. But i have configuration the WIFI to stay connected always.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI take the CyanogenMod 10.3 for my Alcatel OT995, it works fine on my device, but I can't use adb command line neither other features using adb.exe ! I can only access to storage mass device, so I think I have a problem with the USB drivers which connect ADB command to my phone. I can add that before I've installed this Rom on the device, I've installed many drivers on the PC :

I have a problem with the new ROM I have installed. I had CM 10 Android 4.1 until I saw what paranoid android 3.1.5 can do like resizing applications, and I wanted to install it. So i did, but there seems to be a problem: the applications that I moved to SD card are not showing in the app drawer. Weren't those applications supposed to remain on the sd card after I have restored to factory settings, wiped cache and dalvik cache and installed the new ROM? The weird thing is that they don't appear in sdcard1/data/app neither. I want to see where the applications that i moved to sd card are located....
the battery drains faster...Is there an application to track the battery usage just to make a comparision with the CM 10.1 ?
I'm the developer of XenoAmp. I am trying to make it run on Froyo, the thing I did was setting in manifest:

I shut it down and went into hboot and then recovery again. from there i installed wiped it and did a factory reset. then i tried to boot my phone, but nothing again. lastly, i tried a different rom, paranoid android. i installed it and get past the htc quietly brilliant screen, but then it gets stuck at the paranoid android screen.
