Google verify apps now has an always on scanning mechanism for catching harmful apps, but little is talked about if this is all you need now, negating the need for a 3rd party virus protector or not. So what the ideal config is with this now?

All of them work perfect but the locations sent via apps ( facebook for example) they show Bing maps not Google ones. I prefer gmaps because for my country they show every single street and building. Bing hasn't done that yet. What app works with google sources?

I want to installs all the apps out there but i realise many of them require permissions that (i think) are not actually needed by the app to do whatever it needs to do..
For example i want to install power toggles it asks to use my camera... cant the flashlight be turned on without allowing the camera to be used?
Anyways, i realise that apps that sometimes do the exact same things require different permissions, hence... ?
So main question is: is the permission to use the camera really required by an app that turns on the led?

The answer from from "mbligh" is: "I fixed this. I think it's Google's "interesting" login management, where though you have one email address, it can be multiple accounts on the backend. If you're foo@bar.com and it asks you which account you want to use and that's one of the options, pick "other address" and type foo@bar.com again and your password. Now it works. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but still."
I wanna set the ADB_ENABLED and USB_MASS_STORAGE_ENABLED option automatically in my App.
so i add below statement in my App(Activity).

and add below statement in my App(manifest).

but some exception are occured in runtime like below.

I noticed a few mentioning that they have voice turn by turn navigation with Google maps. I don't have the voice with my Google maps. Do I have to download an app for that or activate something for that to work?

It will not recognize that my current google account not has picasa enabled. How in the world can I get it to recognize this? I don't want to do a hard reboot because I'm rooted and have been having alot of problems getting a ROM installed.

Tried to download both apps, could only find/download mms lite, a similar but inferior app by the same company. Emailed support, and their response was:"AOR, DroidCumulus are Security enabled apps.If your device is not categorized as secured as per android market,then you will not be able to see the app."Does anyone know what this means? Is there a setting that I can change? Why would one phone be security enabled and not another that should be identical?

Every app restored requires a "Do you want to install this application?" prompt which requires me to click "Next" one or more times, then "Install" before it'll restore that app. This becomes tedious. Back on 4.1 it would just do all my apps without my intervention. I have unticked Settings>Security>Verify apps.

Upgrading hboot. I've looked into the other posts. But in none (that i have looked at) they do "fastboot flash hboot". Maybe it's just the same?

My bootloader is already unlocked. Might it have something to do with read/write permissions?
i can't upgrade any firmware through the dload method.

Antivirus I picked up it appears a virus, my Samsung S3 mini does not read simcards anymore. The Antivirus told me my IMSI number has been changed, giving me the new and old ones. A motherboard replacement and a firmware upgrade did not solve the problem.

Image signature verify fail
Your boot/recovery image may have an incorrect signature.
Please update your image to a signature official one
you can remove battery for power down.
now i can access only to pink screen, but when i connect my phone with a usb cable then computer only checks drivers etc but does not open a drive where i could change recovery.img back to normal.

I love android and the ease of some features vs current i5 laptop. But everyone says android is not good for productivity and confused as to what they mean.
