My antivirus shows a virus in the clockwork mod but I am not sure whether it is a virus or a program to root the phone. Whether I delete it or keep it. The name of the file is shown as riskware!lotoor.d@android. Is it a part of clock word mod or is it actually a malware.

i installed wifikill i downloaded the apk through 4shared.But my avast is detecting it as a virus.This is what i get and what the app looks like (dunno why but it looks different on trial version as ive seen)

It Makes crazy and I have tried some things alrdy so fix it without any succes.
- Downloaded and installed virusscannen, no succes
- Downloaded and installed ad detector, found a app with leadbolt, deleted it but didn't solve the problem

All of them work perfect but the locations sent via apps ( facebook for example) they show Bing maps not Google ones. I prefer gmaps because for my country they show every single street and building. Bing hasn't done that yet. What app works with google sources?

Antivirus I picked up it appears a virus, my Samsung S3 mini does not read simcards anymore. The Antivirus told me my IMSI number has been changed, giving me the new and old ones. A motherboard replacement and a firmware upgrade did not solve the problem.

The first one is of the official Android 2.1 that came with my Hauawei U8100, and the rest are from a Cynogen ROM of Android 2.3. I recently updated my clockwork recovery mod, and now i can only restore the first backup fully, and the rest can only restore the ROM, but give me a "android_secure.img not found" error, and don't restore data. Is there a way to update the backup to the new version? Is the version upgrade even the problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI think I've tried everything from wiping data/factory reset to wiping the cache in two different places through CWM. I've tried installing 4 different roms of which two of them said they installed but couldn't get them to show when I rebooted. between every rom I performed a wipe and even formatted my sd card. It seems as though the only thing on the internal part of the phone is CWM.
I wasn't sure how to go about using adb method.
The phone is a LG Esteem from Metro PCS.
My phone is stuck at clockworkmod recovery 3.2.0.1, and it wont even load up to the stock screen of android, I've tried zefie's technique of putting the phone into emergency mode, but it still didn't work.

I have been wanting to install a custom Rom for a while now.
However I always end up getting stuck in Clockwork recovery mod.
I have tried installing clockwork recovery by:
Using Odin (Using this tutorial > [URL]....)
Rooting it first then installing it using the stock recovery. (Like in this tutorial > [URL]...)
Both ways have got me stuck booting into clockwork recovery mod and I've tried other things like clearing the caches and stuff. I'm fed up with slow gingerbread! >~<
If I am rooted and do a backup by booting into Clockwork recovery and do a backup, does that save everything on the internal memory of my phone/tablet?
I have searched all over and I am not clear if it includes stuff I copy (like music, pictures) or it is just the ROM, apps and app data.
It seems like you can only backup to the internal memory. What do you do if the backup gets too big to fit on there?
I just install the clockwork recovery and it's stuck on there I tried restoring default turning it off and on it will stay on there I think it's bricked and I don't have any backups what's do I do

I don't know how to install a custom rom onto my Bell Atrix HD MB886, everytime I try it says abortion failed, what can I do to fix this. I have wiped data and all that probably 5 times in the past week alone. I would like to know how to successfully install roms without errors. Both the times that I have done this I had my bootloader unlocked, and I had clockword recovery mod latest version 6.0.4.4. I have a G2 rooted with the Desire Z HBOOT and clockworkmod recovery 5.0.2.7 and everything was working perfectly when randomly out of nowhere my backups no longer restored properly. It would either say md5 sum mismatch or it would restore and get stuck at HTC bootscreen. This happens with any rom i flash. I've tried wiping/factory reset/formatting sdcard/flashing older cwm/ and even removing and creating new md5 images. NOTHING works. This is important to me because I ususally flash back and forth between different roms and I like being able to back them up.

I got a text from a few friends saying that they got an email (which was send to everyone in my Google contacts) with a Spam link for some Russian website. I only check my email from my Mac Book Pro or my Incredible. The password is unique from any other account I have, and it was recently changed. I am 100% sure no one knows what it is. Now it has been changed, and my Google account (my primary account, the one that everything from the phone syncs with) has been disabled my Google. I'm trying to figure out how this happened so it doesn't happen again.
