I have a problem with Viber when on wifi, can not receive calls (when phone is locked) but only get notifications for missed calls when i unlock the phone. On mobile data all works nicely. Messages are doing nicely on both Viber and WhatsApp.

Is it possible to make phone calls redirection through viber? example, someone calls you on mobile 1 in a regular call and it redirects the call through viber to mobile 2 the same for whats upp but for messages?
View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since I installed Viber app my Wi-Fi wan't turning off when in sleep mode. After I force stopped the application it wen't back to normal.
My phone consumes a lot of power, when Wi-Fi is on. About 2-3% per hour. It's kind of what it should do, yeah, because You can make calls on it.
Is there a way to disable the calling function so that it would only periodically check for only messages, as I have a free-talk on all operators available in my country, and I don't use the calling function on the app obviously.
Doesn't seem to be problem with Mobile Data, as the download size is significantly lower.
I've just got a galaxy s3 but when I switch it on it doesn't notify me of any missed calls.

The widget needs to open the application too.Similar to how the iPhone works.Tried "missed" doesn't work how i wanted it to. Also using launcher pro plus 5*7.
Not sure if this is technically the "silent bug" but calls do not even show up on the phone, they just appear as "missed call from...." no noise no other notification. I restarted phone but it did it again right away. Phone does show the 50% bug in battery info.

The screen doesnt light up and no options for receiving calls. This happened before I installed Google voice. I disabled Google voice and still no joy. Everything else works. If I miss a call, or get a voicemail, the screen will turn on as usual but then it won't sleep until I either press the power button or unlock the phone. The screen will stay on indefinitely (on the lock pattern screen). This only started happening after I updated to 2.2. So now if I'm away from my phone and get a call, the battery will be almost completely drained by the time I get back to it (sometimes up to 4 hours later). This might also be happening if I get a calender notification too...anyone know what's going on?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I missed a call or text while my Dare's screen was blank, all I needed to do was tap on it to wake it up and see who the call or text was from while the phone was still locked. On my Dinc, I have to press the top button to wake it up. Is there a way to change the settings so I can go back to just tapping the screen to wake it up?
Call me crazy, but that's just one of a few things that are making me miss my Dare! Don't get me wrong, I love my Dinc, but when you've been used to certain shortcuts for a few years, it's hard to change.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I have someone call my Google Voice number, it rings for a split second, then goes immediately to a missed call icon on my droid. It will then ring for another split second, and add yet another missed call. Every call coming to my number gets around 5 missed calls. The call from their end seems normal, as all they hear is ringing. On my end, I cant even answer the call because it vanishes right away.

My problem is that my wife mainly, or ppl will call or text me and i will not recieve ANY notification of a missed call or text. Usually with my old phone "samsung eternity" i would recieve a missed call or text later once my phone got reception again. Any one else having this problem and also any fixes? My only idea is my task killer might be messing up with it. But i've ignored anything that has to do with text or calls.

You have to option to set the frequency your screen flashes to notify you (every 5, 10 seconds, etc) and for how long this goes on (1 hour, 2 hours, etc) Gonna try it out. Not sure if it's a battery drainer or not, just trying it out myself.

This has happened even when the ringer volume is turned all the way up (it's much too easy to inadvertently lower the ringer volume, but that's another story). Yeah, I know - I live in New York City, where it's easy to not hear a phone ring, but I've missed calls even when I'm in a totally quiet room. Just now, I was sitting with the phone on the table in front of me, and it started lighting up with an incoming call, but the ringer made no sound. I checked and the ringer was up 3/4 of the way, so it should have been ringing.
