Sprint HTC Hero : Way To Show Call Times For Missed Calls?

Jul 3, 2010Not sure if this is technically the "silent bug" but calls do not even show up on the phone, they just appear as "missed call from...." no noise no other notification. I restarted phone but it did it again right away. Phone does show the 50% bug in battery info.

Sep 9, 2010How can I tell if I have a missed phone call? There doesn't seem to be any method of notification, such as the BlackBerry's "Missed 1 call" text message on the screen. I'm wondering how many calls I miss. At least, if I'm on the X, I get a notice there's another incoming call.

Nov 21, 2010I couldn't find a thread that addressed this, sorry if it's been asked before!Here is my question: Is there a way to display the EXACT time of a call or text on the Ally and not just have it say 'yesterday' or '2 hours ago', etc. I can't find it in any settings and I can't seem to find an app for it. With my job I have to fill out a very detailed field report requiring exact times I spoke with someone, did something, etc. and I used to use my text messages as a way to keep record of this. If there is a way to do this it could make my life much easier!Disclaimer: After reading several posts here I see that I'm pretty technologically impaired in the span of droid users, so go on and treat me like I don't understand you're computer lingo because you're probably right. No offense will be taken!

Mar 7, 2010I need someone to test my First app I did. It is reworked and extended version of Android DatePicker app here: Date Picker | Android Developers. I don't have Android creature, because I am out of the Google test area. My app shows Time Duration using the DatePicker Dialog twice

Please email me and I'll attach the tDurator.apk for you. I need feedback about the working state of the app when rotating the Nexus 1 device, but anyone having at least Android system 1.5 (level 3 on the SDK) can run the app. The app is signed for release and in not harm to the phone.
HTC Hero :: Calendar Sync And Missed Calls
Aug 4, 20101: My phone gives me two notifications for missed calls. One that comes from '333' which is the number from '3 mobile' here in australia, and a second notification which it says is from a random facebook friend. Someone i dont even have in my phonebook. It has their picture and name?
I am using handcent and am wanting to cut it down to only one message per missed call, preferably i want to stop the one coming from the facebook contact.
2. I am using launcherpro + and was checking out the new calendar widget. Problem is it shows the birthdays for every single facebook contact i have I want to stop these being shown on my calendar. They dont show with my Pure calendar widget. the pure calendar widget is set to display all events in the calendar called 'My Name'. How can i remove the birthdays from appearing from the launcherpro + widget?
HTC Hero : No Missed Calls - Just A Voicemail - Scream At Orange?
Sep 1, 2009OK, so one of my most hated issues has just arisen with my hero:
It's sat on my desk, enjoying full signal. All of a sudden it chimes up that it's got a new voicemail. No missed calls, no nothing, just a voicemail.
I HATE THAT! Can't decide whether to scream at orange or whether to scream at HTC.

Dec 30, 2013I recently received an LG optimus f3 with android 4.1.2.
After activating the phone, it displayed the correct date and time for my time zone, so I didn't mess around with settings to reset the time, as I would with any other device.
However, I've noticed that the time changes to exactly an hour ahead, before changing itself back several minutes later.
I went to settings > date and time, but 24 hour time and selecting a date format are the only options listed.
I prefer to leave mobile data off when I am at home and can use the wi-fi. Is it necessary to have mobile data turned on, so the phone can receive the time from a cell tower, or is there a way I can set an internal clock?

Apr 26, 2010For quite a while now, people have been saying how long it takes for me to answer my phone, even though it's usually on my desk and I get there after a couple of rings.
So today I tested it out. I rang my mobile number from my landline, it connected and started ringing, but it got to about six rings before the LED on my mobile started flashing and a further two rings until it started ringing!
I'm on T-Mobile, but it seems to connect OK, just take a while to register on my phone. Obviously this isn't the end of the world, but I use my mobile for business and it doesn't make me look very good!

The little notification Icon at the top of the screen in the status bar is way to small and gets lost among all the other notifications. Aug 24, 2010This has happened to me a few times now. If I miss a call, or get a voicemail, the screen will turn on as usual but then it won't sleep until I either press the power button or unlock the phone. The screen will stay on indefinitely (on the lock pattern screen). This only started happening after I updated to 2.2. So now if I'm away from my phone and get a call, the battery will be almost completely drained by the time I get back to it (sometimes up to 4 hours later). This might also be happening if I get a calender notification too...anyone know what's going on?

Nov 2, 2010If I missed a call or text while my Dare's screen was blank, all I needed to do was tap on it to wake it up and see who the call or text was from while the phone was still locked. On my Dinc, I have to press the top button to wake it up. Is there a way to change the settings so I can go back to just tapping the screen to wake it up?
Call me crazy, but that's just one of a few things that are making me miss my Dare! Don't get me wrong, I love my Dinc, but when you've been used to certain shortcuts for a few years, it's hard to change.

May 20, 2010I'm on O2 UK and if my wife rings me from her O2 mobile or from our home landline my Desire doesn't ring but shows the missed call icon in the notification area. what happens on the phone you ring from i.e my wife�s mobile or our landline all you here is 2 short rings then the phone goes dead.I only have wifi switched on and not the mobile network.that is to say I don't have the 'mobile network' option ticked in 'wireless & networks' screen. Has anyone else had this problem?PS the phone rings fine when I ring from say my work mobile or my work landline and also from other mobiles including ones on O2 UK. >PPS tried turning off the option 'Quiet ring on pickup' but that hasn't made any difference either
