I was having problems with the play store and I was told to clear data from the Play Sore and GoogleServicesFramework app. That didn't work and I got a server error. Also my signal bars and wifi/3G icon are not turning blue as usual when connected. I feel disconnected from the play store .

Sometimes when unlocking or turning on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Play Store opens by itself.
Before the store opens, the browser goes to www.ads.glispa.com or www.hastrk2.com which then opens the Play Store. I've tried using those ad detectors but I won't be able to find the culprit without uninstalling my apps to see what's causing it.
Any way to find out which app(s) is doing this?
I got the Play Store update last week and it was fine. Working smooth. Yesterday all of a sudden, something weird happens. First, the play store icon in my app drawer ignored the alphabetical listing and moved itself to the apps beginning with "m" (where the Market app used to be)I clicked on sort alphabetically, and it went back to its original place, but it still has the old market icon. I want the Play Store icon back in my app drawer.

Delete the google account
go to the apps
play store
remove cashe
clear data
Restart your mobile
After doing this method it is only work 2 to 3 times. But after sometime it is giving me error again.
Recently verizon upgraded my software to 2.3 and everything changed including the status bar its blue wat the heck was verizon thinking they cud have left it white or black not every wallpaper goes with a blue status bar, how to change the status bar color without rooting?

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing appbrain on my PC seems to work fine when I'm not logged in. When I do log in and try to click on an app I get this error message:
"Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."
Anyone else have this issue when using Appbrain on their pc?
Well, It looks like I solved the problem. I just deleted my account and created it again and it's fixed (for now).
I dropped my Note 2 yesterday and the screen started slowly turning blue. This morning, the screen completely got filled with blue/white/messed up color, and then went completely black. Touchscreen still worked though because I was able to maneuver around the phone right after it was dropped. Screen was not cracked. does the screen has to be replaced as well or i can replace it with smaller parts?

I got a new Experia Z Tablet this morning and I'm ready to throw it out of the window in a minute. I have been on android for a long time with the same email. Gmail address. I received my new tablet this morning. Turned it on and after setting up logged in with my email that have used for years and am currently using on a HTC one but I'm getting the 403 error whenever try to download an app or even re populate the tablet with the same apps I have on my phone. I've researched lots and tried the deleting cash and stop services etc. Still no joy.
I've factory reset tablet. Kept on wifi and tried again. Still the same. I've made a new Gmail account. Tried again. Still the same. I'm at a loss to what to do. If even after making a new Google log in etc it won't work where do I go now. I don't want multiple accounts I just want to have the same account across my phone and tablet. Oh and it's the lte version by the way. I've tried not entering any mobile network details and using only wifi at first and it doesn't work. Then I tried not using wifi but only using the mobile network and still the same. Also the is no proxy setting in mine to delete. I don't mind factory resetting again as I've got nothing on here anyway as I can't download any apps. With any account. Old or new.

For a month constantly ignored then yesterday message displayed could no longer be postponed.Now the blue Navigation icon is missing & even when I do uninstall google maps update doesn't revert to 6.0. Is that because 4.3 won't allow it to and if so is there a work around. My phone was already set up to allow manual updates only which is how I kept blue navigation for so long & never updated maps. but when 4.3 was forced it looks as it removed blue navigation app.

I have just noticed that since a few days back my wifi icon in my CM7 nookcolor is not turning green anymore. Apparently the only related problem is gmail is not refreshing automatically. Google Play is working fine and I'm able to browse the internet.
The problem must be related to my wifi, because whenever I connect to my neighbors or my office wifi, it goes green without doing anything special.I read google play requires an specific port open in the firewall, which is not open in mine although Gplay is working without it.
Is there any specific port or another setting that should be enabled in my wifi in order to my nook to connect to Google servers?
I'm rooted and have 4.0.4.

I used Ninjamorph went into framework , apps, systemui.apk and changed the png files of the signal bar png's. when I reboot the new image shows up but changes back to the old style when the 3g or 1x kicks in. do I need to change a different signal png?

7) changing wpa_supplicant
Nothing worked. I'm still getting Error on turning on.
I looked at [*#*#4636#*#* > Wifi information > Wifi Status ] and it says "Supplicant state: UNINITIALIZED". Could it be that it's something wrong with this wpa_supplicant thing?

Is it possible to change the colour of the Status and System Icons at the top of the screen from the default blue? Preferably to white. Anyway i can remove the NO SIGNAL icon ONLY? I still want the signal strength of the second SIM to appear when SIM 2 is activated but i don't want the icon when SIM 2 is deactivated.
I believe it lies somewhere in the SystemUI.apk since that's how i removed the Vibration Indicator icon.

I installed LBE Privacy, and set GPS access to PROMPT for all applications I saw on the list, including system apps, I even deny it to Google Framerowk, and still it happens.
