I just got a Note 10.1 2014 and I've got a duplicated SIM of the one that I have in my S4. I tried sending out a message from the Note 10.1 but it failed. I'm wondering if it's impossible for me to use the same phone number to send a text message from either device which shares the same duplicated SIM card.

Yesterday I went into my Gmail account and changed a setting, I think under the accounts/forwarding tab, and now every time I receive an Email in my Hotmail account, which is my primary one, I get duplicates. Two of every Email come in. This is rather annoying and clutters up everything, so I'm trying to figure out what setting dumbass me changed and how do I change it back.

Therefore I have to use exchange active sync to sync my work calendar whilst I am at work.
To access emails outside of work with have a email route setup and a external email host.
The short is I have to add 2 accounts under the same email address. One which will connect to the work network locally over wifi and the other that will just allow me to view work emails externally.
This has worked fine previously but since my phone has been updated to 4.4 kitkat when adding the second account it pops up with a error message about duplicate accounts.
How can i bypass this message and add the second account?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using go SMS pro and I made some backups and made it auto backup by schedule..I've noticed now that something probably went wrong and now I've got most of my SMS twice or trice, or even 4 times duplicate..And if ill try to fix it handily by my self it'll take me 40 years, cuz I got over a thousand messages.. and each one is 2-4 times..
Is there any app that you know that could scan it and delete it by its own?Like scanning the whole SMS and delete those who are the same..?

I just couldn't seem to get it fixed no matter how much merging, joining, splitting, importing, exporting, manually deleting, etc., so I finally just deleted all my contacts. I deleted ALL OF THEM from the phone. I deleted ALL OF THEM from my gmail account. When I look at the Contacts list in my phone now, they are GONE. No more effing DUPLICATES, right? Wrong. Where's My Water is also there with 2 files, each consuming almost 60 MB. It looks like I could delete one of them. But why are there duplicates in the first place? And why doesn't Android cleanup this mess itself?
G+ messenger app within android G+ app works fine. However, I would like to be able to run Messenger on my desktop computer as well. It is much less cumbersome to type there. However, I don't seem to find any possibility to access it via G+ app in my chrome desktop browser. Also, there is no external app to run it. The only thing available is google talk, which does not include/show any of my messenger-conversations.

I don't use MMS / SMS, so this is my only way of sharing photos. I've tried resetting the app, uninstalling / reinstalling. Tried different ROMS (on my Galaxy Nexus) and the problem is also happening on my wife's Galaxy S3.

Better explained, I've found Telegram as a good alternative to Whatsapp with its encryption features, but it lacks one thing that I really need: I'd like to keep some chat very private: it will be very useful if the conversation had some kind of PIN-password-pattern unlocking features.
This is possible for sms (Handcent, for example), but I haven't found it in any Messenger service.
It now comes installed with Facebook and i don't want another camera icon in my app drawer. I'm using touch wiz so using another launcher is out of the question. I've checked Tibu and it doesn't see it. I'm sure others would find this info useful as well.

While chatting today i was typing the pretty fast. Can't really recall what i did but somehow a keyboard with BIG Emoticons was showing.. and it was facebook's keyboard. Also, seems like the emoticons was loading from the web as they were started to show gradually.

Whenever I use another app than my default app to send SMS, eg. I'm using SMSPopup, Glowfly or event another "real" SMS app along with my default one (let's say hangouts or Handcent), I have duplicate sent SMS, that means I have twice my sent messages in my list. I didn't have this issue on JB.
I tried to tweak access/read/write permissions via AppOps but the result is still the same. I now have to use the same app for popups/Notifications and SMS. Other SMS apps are useless because they duplicate the text messages.
