I have a Sero 7 Pro, and for some odd reason, the camera stops. Doesn't stop working, just goes black. I have to stop recording and restart. Sometimes it will record for hours, other times for 20 to 30 seconds. I use it as a dash cam and it's getting irritating.

last week i tried to root my HTC and all sudden the camera turned black and white.
so i reset the phone to the defult and i still have the same problem.and an application called " superuser " haven't been deleted.also the software version is 2.2, and i tried to update but i couldn't!
My Xperia arc (LT15i) runs CM 10. Whenever I switch camera mode to panorama the camera screen goes black although the capture button and switch camera tab are still there.

I have a Sero 7 Pro that has a 32GB micro SD card. I would like to take it with me to the deer lease so I can back up all my trail cam pics to the 32GB card. So I got a micro USB to female USB adapter. Plugged a 16GB SD card into a card reader and plugged it into my adapter. The Sero 7 will not see the memory card at all. I have tried all the free usb mount apps and usb mass storage apps on Google play. I even rooted my tablet last night and it still won't see the memory card or my Verbatim flash drive (all formatted as FAT32).

Everyone keeps saying that the Hisense Sero 7 Pro has hardware that's basically identical to the Nexus 7 (grouper), besides the sd card slot, and I was wondering if it's possible to install a rom that's meant for one, on the other.
The main reason I ask is i'd like to install AOKP, PA, or even Ubuntu Touch on my Sero Pro, but I can't find a way to do this.
Even if there are roms that I haven't found yet that work on the Sero, I'm still curious about my original question...
I have been struggling to root my new tablet for 2 days now without success.
I also have apple devices and jailbreak them for years without any problem but today I am completly stucked.
I am unable to intall correctly the ADB Interface... It is impossible.
I tried to install, desinstall, reinstall many times the usb drivers. Restart the computer many times...
I tried the SDK android tool with installation of the USB driver package v7.
I still have an exclamation point on the device !!
When I try to install the drivers, it always tells me:
"An error occurs during the hardware installation A service installation section of the INF file is not valid".
I am under XP 32 bits SP3.

if it gets tilted it freezes forever.
i did an adb logcat, never logged an error.
so im thinking it just has a broken tilt sensor, is there a way to disable it?
This morning my camera and video camera would open and then immediately close down. I shut the phone down and rebooted. Camera still did not open. Next, I shutdown the phone and removed the battery. After a few moments, I reinstalled the battery and rebooted. The camera still would not open. I had to do other work, so I just set the phone aside for a few hours. When I came back, I tried the camera again and after a short pause it opened, but not as smoothly as in the past. It is still not opening as it should. First it displays a very quick view of the desktop with an error message. It goes too fast for me to read and then it opens the camera app.

If it paused I wouldn't be so bothered but it actually puts you back to that start of the track. A real pain if you're 45 mins into a podcast. Is this normal Android behaviour or Galaxy S specific? View 6 Replies View RelatedMy sero pro produce random false touches when connected to computer via usb cable. That makes it very inconvinient to use for development. It does not have this problem when the cable is not connected. That is most apparent when "Show touches" is turned on in developer settings.
I opened it up looking for loose joints on usb or digitizer ports, but everything seems good with that.
i have a big black dog. anytime i want to record her with her taking up just a portion of the screen the droid screen turns very very dark almost all black. to the point hwere i can t really make out what i am recording. whats the point? i have tried differnt settings but i still get the same thing. has anyone else had this problem with the camera goinng black?

I am creating a little application where I use the Android Camera class. Everything seems to work but the result is a black picture. I think I forget to set a parameter. Do you have any ideas on which parameter I must set up ?

When I start the camera up, it shows nothing but black (no, the lens isn't covered in any way/shape/form). If I hit the track ball as usual it acts as though it's taking a picture though it's also nothing but black. What am I missing here? BTW, I'm on 2.1 and did a factory reset two days ago.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been playing with my camera today, and finally figure out how to take decent pix, but after scrolling through my album, I tried to go to the camera again, but now everytime I try the screen is black. And it stays black even after I remove my battery. A few times, I couldn't even get to home--the screen just stayed black.
Now it's still black when I go to the camera, but at least I can access home without having to remove my battery. I called Bestbuy and they said I can exchange, but I'm afraid I might get one with a messed up GPS. :-( Will Bestbuy fix it or make me exchange? Will Sprint fix it even though I'm still in my 30-day trial?
Has anyone had there camera just show a black screen? it makes the autofocus noises but black screen. I have done a bat pull and it still doesn't work.

The screen will turn black with the camera or video image and then go back to the home screen. I have tried restarting the phone with the same results. Any suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this? btw I was unrooted and stock if that makes a difference prior to the update.
View 41 Replies View RelatedBoth flash was set on auto (yes even the second one) in low-medium lighting. This happened on my first Droid after a week or so of owning it so I returned it. Tried a hard reset and restarting the phone, didn't help. I also cleaned the lens and made sure my fingers were not in the way. The flash does go off each time.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThere have been other threads for carrier jumpers but I just wanted to see how many people are finally getting off of the old SERO plans because of the EVO. I was tempted for awhile to get a Touch Pro 2 and stay on SERO but eventually decided to get the EVO. It's going to be about double what I'm currently paying but the way I see it it's still a better deal than what the other carriers offer for a phone that has a list of features that very few phones can match.Sprint is probably going to be REALLY happy to see me off of that plan!

Half sometimes 3/4 of the screen is black, i have a feeling its and app because i sent it back to motorola and the re-flashed the phone, it was working fine until i restored all my apps using "my backup pro" and now i have the same problem as before.I need to find out which app is causing the problem.I also find that the camera doesnt work at full flash capacity because when i press the camera button to focus the testing flash is alot brighter than the flash it uses to take the actual photo.

I have Huawei u8600 sonic rooted and with Cyanogen 9 ROM for this phone. Everything is working fine, but I noticed that sometimes my phone just doesn't find SD card. After reboot it works fine again for a while, but after an hour or two it happens again. There is no message about SD card being removed or something, it just disappears. I have most of my apps moved to SD card, so this really annoys me, because without SD card I can't use most of my phone's programs.
