I've figured out how to send calls from a specific contact direct to voice mail, but how do I send ALL calls to voice mail??
I saw that previous versions of android allowed you to send specific callers directly to voicemail, but I can seem to figure it out for this phone. Can anybody let me know or suggest an app that works with the evo?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAlthough there are a few threads about calls going straight to voice mail in other phone sections, I have yet to see one here. From what I read, there isn't a solution, but I still want to ask being that it is now happening to my Sprint Hero. Anyone know what causes it, or if there is a setting one can change to stop it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm finding it extremelly annoying that some calls are going straight to voicemail. When I'm at work I have a full strength signal, the phone sits on my desk all day but for some unknown reason, some calls go straight to voicemail.
View 22 Replies View RelatedI have a contact setup and have enabled the option to have their calls go directly to voicemail. I've got every number I know for this person listed. Seems like that's all I really need to do. So why am I here watchinghearing my phone ring right now on my desk and yes it's from the contact in question? I mean we've all got at least 1 person that we just do NOT want to talk to when they call. I can deal with a voicemail and call them back when I'm ready. But when I reach for my ringing phone and I see that contact's name. all I can say is WTF?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am looking for an application that will send my calls directly to voicemail with no ring in between. I still want to be able to send and receive texts. I am trying to simulate my phone being turned off. If the caller hears even one ring, it will be assumed I am hitting ignore. Does such an application exist?

Sometimes, when I receive calls, the phone will ring 2 or three times before going to voicemail - it is almost like I am rejecting the calls, which I know I'm not, as it tends to happen when I'm not even touching the phone.
Phone details are as follows:
Samsung Galaxy
O2 UK
Firmware 1.5
Baseband I7500XXII4
Kernel 2.6.27
I know I could send calls straight to voicemail on my Samsung Moment, is there any way to do it with the Epic? I cannot figure it out, and I've got some people I really don't want to talk to that cannot take a hint.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an issue where occasionally a call will go straight to my voicemail without ringing or otherwise notifying until there suddenly appears a voicemail. And I don't think it even shows up as a missed call. Anyone else have this happen or know what the cause may be? My phone is set to ring & vibrate, and is usually just sitting there asleep. I'm not on another call or otherwise using it. But I can test call it right after and it's fine. Frustrating.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI have used my Hero in 2 different countries and I get the same problem: Regardless of signal connection, I miss half (a guess) of all calls made to me. People tell me it finally dials after a few straight-to-voicemail tries. This didn't happen with any of my previous phones (Nokias and Motos), in both of the aforementioned countries. I really hope my rubber case has all to do with this because I bought the phone from eBay (i.e. no warranty).
View 17 Replies View RelatedSo I just called Verizon, my original Eris was returned because I couldn't answer calls before they went to voicemail, and now I have the silent speaker bug, I can't hear anyone on through the speaker and they can't hear me on the other side. Has anyone had luck with the replacements? Maybe I'm just getting bad ones.

Is there a way to disable calls from certain numbers from going to voicemail?

View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know how to make ALL calls go direct to voicemail? When i try to upload a large file to YouTube, FB, etc - an incoming call/SMS kicks me off; and, I have to start all over. I have found how to do this on the HTC, through Settings:Wireless:Mobile Networks.... but similarities stop there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOK, so one of my most hated issues has just arisen with my hero:
It's sat on my desk, enjoying full signal. All of a sudden it chimes up that it's got a new voicemail. No missed calls, no nothing, just a voicemail.
I HATE THAT! Can't decide whether to scream at orange or whether to scream at HTC.
There have been numerous times when people have tried to phone me and it's gone straight to voicemail. I know when using GPRS you can't use voice and data at the same time but I can't figure out what's using the data stream. I only have the weather application which updates every 3 hours but even when it's not due an update this issue has occurred. Can anyone suggest how to figure out what's using data? The only fix I can think of is to turn off Internet while in a GPRS area assuming the problem is a clash of data / voice.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSort of two things which might be related. I've been having call quality issues with this phone since I got it. I thought it sounded very electronic and could hardly stay on the phone. Took it to a Sprint store and they did a soft reset and said they couldn't duplicate the issue. I made some calls, some said it sounded better. As long as I have the volume turned down it seems to be okay. But then it's hard to hear what they are saying. If I turn up the volume it sounds like someone is yelling too loudly too close to a microphone. Like bad speakers rattling or something (especially with "s" sounds).
On my headset which was $100 and worked so well on my old phone (people couldn't even tell I was on a headset) the person on the other side either says it's "okay" or says they can definitely tell I'm distant, to one friend saying it was "awful." When listening to Visual Voice Mail it's awful sound, regardless of the volume. Want to try to get a new phone, but then worried I'll have one of the other issues everyone else is having (WiFi or GPS or whatever).
When my friends call me, my phone starts ring between third and fourth free signal on theirs side, then the time I am realizing it rings and it's in voicemail already.very annoying.what makes this in-acceptable delay?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm having some serious issues with Visual Voicemail on my Droid. I get calls, miss them and people leave me VMs. I can see that I have them, I know what numbers they're coming from, but I can't listen to them. They won't download from the server. I thought I was out of space or something, so I deleted all of my stored VMs, but they still won't download. What is going on??? It's really becoming frustrating because some of these could have been critical VMs that I need to listen to.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI have a friend who is added to my Desire's contact list.
1. He is on my Facebook contact. (His facebook pic appears in my Desire contact list)
2. He is my Gmail contact as well.
3. He is added as a 'Phone Contact' as well.
I sent him a text few days ago but don't remember if it was using facebook or my phone (network provider sms) but now when I go in to 'Messages' and send him a message, I just can't figure out if I am sending him a message via Facebook or to his mobile number.
In the past when I get a voicemail in my Google Voice box the notification disappears after I listen to the message. Today I have a new voicemail and I go to listen to it in Google Voice and the notification still remains. Oddly, the number showing in the notification is the number of my Google Voice account and not the number of the caller. How do I clear this alert?
