View 6 RepliesI've tried to flash a rom with sp flash tool, and my allview viper (AKA blu life play100, gionee elife e3, or else model) died. nothing appears on the display, even when i put to charging.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI used the recovery mode first time - it worked, second time playing with NoBloat - it gets stuck in boot screen.I can go to the recovery mode menu, both chinese and english, can do a full clear cache, data, format, but phone still won't boot.
I can use ADB shell, but Smart phone flash tool does not recognize phone, MTK droid tool recognizes it, but I can't backup it.
how to fix this error... i also create a new scatter file of my phone.. but nothing works..
Error is
EBOOT ERROR : (16008)
[Android Partition size changed!
[HINT] Partial images download error
How can I create a backup and then use the flash tool

I am having Iball andi 4.5d quadro mobile. I got stock rom of my mobile from this website [URL]
I used SP flash tool but now touch not working
There is no information on how to flash the entire ROM package back to your phone (at least with regard to the errors you may receive).
how to backup one of my phones entire rom package and put it on my other phone that I messed up via the Smart Phone Flash Tool (the exact same model: Star Touch Diamond 2 B2000 MT6573).
The new phone works perfect, I have never touched it, my old phone which is the same model I deleted and formatted the system so I need to put the stock rom on.
I was able to do a "backup" of my new phone, but when i try to flash the preloader and uboot, etc, the sp flash tool says error loading file, or region too large with overlap.
By the way, my phone is not bricked, but I cannot access recovery! I was able to find and install another fully assembled rom to my phone and the phone does power on with lights, but it doesnt have the display driver I need so I cannot see anything.
The reason I flashed another rom was because the phone was essentially bricked and wouldnt do anything, and that was the only rom I could find on the internet that was a full package (preloader, uboot, system, etc) but isnt compatible with phone.
Anyhow, if I understand correctly I need to use hexadecimal calculator to find length of partitions of original phones rom, readback the files, somehow edit the preloader file? then flash them back to the old phone?

I've got a LinearLayout with a bunch of buttons on it. This panel is always hidden unless a menu item is chosen. When the LinearLayout is shown, I want to detect if the user clicks anywhere outside of the panel so that I can hide it again. Is there a way to do this, maybe with detecting focus changes? I've tried to add an OnFocusChangeListener to the LinearLayout itself (and called setFocusable(true) on it), but the focus change listener never gets called. Furthermore, I'd have to be able to detect if the LinearLayout or any of its children lose focus.

I was looking for a Windows based tool that can make a complete backup image of my SD card (just didn't want to lose 13gb worth of photos and music). I tried the native Windows backup program, Ghost, and just about every other backup solution with no luck. I did run into a free program called "USB Image Tool" and it does just what I need. Once you mount your SD card on your phone, this little program will allow you to create an IMG image and also has restore functions. It is located at:

I rooted my LG Thrill 4G (LG optimus 3D) with superoneclick which went smoothly and was fine. For some reason without me not even knowing the basics of a ROM decided to get an app ROM Toolbox I believe and play around with it. I did not download any ROM I was just looking at a cyano something rom when all of a sudden my phone froze. I tried turning it off I even waited 30 minutes for it to unfreeze but nothing happened so I pulled the battery. When I turned the phone on it just stays at the LG logo. I went ahead and pulled the battery again and started the phone in system recovery, but I get this no matter what I try to do:
E:Can't mount CACHE:recovery/command
E:Can't mount CACHE: recovery/log
E:Can't open CACHE:recovery/log
