My SGS2 got hanged this morning and i gave it to service center for repairs (software problem), m going to get it back tomorrow. but they are going to wipe all the stuff, is there any way that i can re install all the apps without searching for it one by one??

Recently my Samsung Galaxy Mini went into a boot loop. To solve this, I had to factory reset the phone, deleting all my apps. When I log onto google play, and navigate to my previous apps, it says they are still installed, and won't let me reinstall them. Is there any way round this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have installed some apps from Android Market to my Galaxy y. I needed to reset the factory settings and all the apps in the phone was erased. I only wanted to delete the email account. I tried to go to Android Market to reinstall. But it won't get in my phone anymore even when I click on install. There is a button that says installed. I checked on "manage account" setting and none of the applications are there. From Android market, when I click on "My Library" I see all the apps that I have downloaded before.
Question: Is it not possible to reinstall these free apps again? If so how do I do it?
I am planning to factory restore my phone. I have purchased lots of apps from Google play store. I do not want all the apps to be downloaded. How can I prevent all apps from getting downloaded to my phone? There is a firmware upgrade waiting to be installed right now. is it possible to delete the firmware? I do not want to put that on my phone....

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter months of cursing my phone (MyTouch3g, old one, "B" type), I decided to try a new firmware/ROM as one last chance before I threw it in a river. I have never done this before so I had to learn it all from scratch, I think I did it right...anyway I am now running CyanogenMod 5.0.8 Firmware 2.1 (p.s. I feel like i could take a final exam in computer science now...). All is good, it is fast, pretty and has a few bells and whistles my old OEM rom didn't. But, I don't have ANY APPS. Only camera, gallery, browser, messaging, contacts and dialer. Obviously Cyanogen can not include Google proprietary apps in its package. I did install something that allowed me to sign into my Gmail account (Gapps-ds-ERE36B-signed.zip) so now I get new email notifications, and my contacts list is populated with my google contacts, but I have no "gmail" icon anywhere.

It's awesome, but I have a problem with the icons, especifically the VIDEO icon, I move it to one place, and after I download an app or move another icon it moves itself to the last page of icons. This happens like twice a day. I also have a folder with 27 icons, did a battery pull and the folder was empty and all the icons where roaming different pages.

Both have the SIP active already but the cyanogen have the option to change user-agent.
There's any way to put this option in the other modded ROM too? Or there's any app with this option active?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had some odd problems since my Froyo update, calls going straight to voicemail and people not hearing me when I make or receive calls - all intermittent of course! I've decided I'm going to reset to factory and just back up texts and contacts, I'll just reinstall the apps afterwards - probably don't need half of them anyway.. Question is they are all installed on my SD card now, will factory reset get rid of them from the mem card? I want them all gone and to start again...I'd hate to think they were wasting space on my SD card....otherwise I'll have move them back before reset..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted a few weeks ago, am running xtrsense 3.0.1 and apps2sd. Certain apps that i had installed prior to root were not working after root. I tried to uninstall these and reinstall. Whenever I tried the reinstall, there is an error stating insufficient storage available. Checking the SD card, it says 140 MB available. I seem to be able to install new apps, but not reinstall previously installed. The specific apps this has happened with are Better Keyboard, shazam and handcent. Any suggestions?

The problem is that they show up under Removable Disk (F as "Shortcut" and size is 2kb each. I cant open or move anything to them. I'm thinking its something on the pc side because 2 phones are doing this.

I have a rooted SGS2 with NeatRom. And I am sharing my internet with wifi hotspot to my computer.
Is there any mode or anything, that makes my phone go into some mode, that only enables internet/data sharing and such.. Like a modem, to save battery and also, that the actual phone dont use so much data.
everything i wanted is to have my phone overclocked on 1,5GHz and now its stuck on loading screen after doing it with odin? it worked before on Omni ROM and everything and all those things i had the damn backup on phone
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently, I came across the 'no connection', retry - error in both Google Play and Gmail on my rooted SGS2 with CM7. Haven't had this problem before, it just started out of the blue.
I have tried
- setting date/time to correct values
- clearing data of Gmail and Play app
- re-flashing gapps
- battery pull
all without success. The Gmail app seems still to be able to receive messages, just not sending. Also, the 'no connection' error pops up 95% of the time, but not always.
When I got my phone at the end of last year I rooted it using a Chain-Fire kernel - v 4.2, I think. After flashing, it worked perfectly, since when I have flashed the old bootloader to get my USB Jig working to remove the yellow triangle and flashed a patch again to allow the USB Jig to reset the binary counter.
I have very much wanted to install and get the new Sky Go application working.
What I had to do was flash the Stock kernel for my Stock Rom - I have never messed with my Rom - it is Gingerbread 2.3.4 in a CPW phone here in the UK.
Doing the flash and installing Voodoo OTA (to temporarily hide my root) has been enormously successful
Now then to my query....
The original Chain-Fire mod v 4.2 installed CWM.
After of course cancelling the "hide root" function to show my phone as rooted once more, I went to do a backup, using CWM but it refuses to work. It says my kernel needs v 5.0. Obviously the Stock Rom I flashed to get Sky Go working has thrown CWM some what.
I have downloaded Rom Manager from the Market but this seems not to work either - it starts to work (reboots) but then halts with the following messages: -
E : failed to verify whole-file signature
E : signature verification failed
Installation aborted
What I would like is some way of installing a backup previously made before flashing the Stock kernal and also to make a fresh backup now.
