I flashed Paranoid ROM on my HTC One V and now the phone reboots after the HTC logo screen,it can't move past it.
I have tried flashing boot.img,formatting my phone,deleting cache partition,doing factory reset,re-flashing the ROM but nothing seems to work.

OK today charged battery then turned off bump charged it turned it back one. HTC splash screen, then little splash screen then verizon splash screen then its reboots. It did this even if I removed the battery. Called Tech support had to clear all my data UGH!!!! luckily i did export to sd card a while back only missing about 20 contacts out of a 100 but its fixed now. Anyone else have this happen. I have had no problems with this phone til now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday whilst surfing the net via wireless (only for a few mins) my Desire shutdown out of the blue and now constantly reboots - all it shows is the O2 Welcome screen before rebooting. Tried stopping this booting by holding down the power key and now it's stuck on the welcome screen! Any idea of what I can do? I've already removed the battery, sim and mini sd card and tried starting again but I still can't get past the o2 screen!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got an HTC Evo 3D running MIUI 2.1.20. I've been having an issue lately that's spanned multiple roms on multiple phones. Every few minutes the phone will freeze a and eventually soft reset. This only occurs when the phone is sitting, or I am on the home screen. If I'm using an app on the phone it runs fine until I exit that app, at which point it will continue to run for a minute or two before soft resetting.
I've experienced this issue on both my Evo 3D and Evo shift. I've used Eternity and MIUI on the 3D, and MIUI and Synergy in the shift.
I purchase Samsun galaxy prevail two yesterday from Radio Shack. everytime I connect the charger the phone reboots, what is the problem with the phone?

i tried to flash a rom without unlocking my bootloader. Well im running windows 8.1 and for some reason i couldnt get my computer to recognize the phone at all. After using 3 or 4 different guides i gave up for a few days so not to get too aggrivated. I mean its my own fault but my back up phone sucks lol. So i borrowed my wifes laptop running win 7. I Followed this guide androidforums.com/optimus-l9-all-things-root/807569-guide-security-error-fix.html. everything seemed to work got the s/w screen to appear in reverse and using the cmd prompt that says wiating for device then starting the .bat file from the download it says on the bat cmd prompt that everything worked. well at the bottom its says done then comes up with C:fast boot yours. i have been browsing Google but i haven't been able to find what i am supposed to do with the yours file. i tried putting a kdz file into the file location and running it from that but no luck. after a few min the phone auto reboots and comes back with the security error screen and not the backwards one.

View 5 Replies View RelatedEver since the 2.2 update, or downgrade as I now call it, my phone has been freezing nonstop. I have no clue what's going on. I have very few apps. The only reason I got this phone was because I'd thought it would be better than my old Samsung Instinct, which also constantly experienced freezes.
Here's an in depth look:
Press top button, slide down to unlock but no response.
Home screen, will not respond to touch.
Placing a call to someone, and before they answer, another call will come in completely freezing my phone, hard reset required.
The only reason I switched from the instinct is because I was sick of the freezes. And this phone hadn't done it before the update. Now, since my 30 day return is over, and the update came after the 30 grace period, I'm stuck with this POS phone.
Do you guys have any clue about this?
If not, looks like I'm switching from sprint after my 12 year run with them.
Phone has been overheating all morning. From 8am to 12:40pm until I plugged it on the charger. Now its just warm. The battery completely drained and I never even had any apps running. I used the app killer to make sure I wasn't running anything. I barely used the phone this morning except for three text messages and sent an email. I just got a new battery sent from Verizon, I don't understand why it spazzed out on me.

After a couple minutes the phone reboot itself while I was actively in the call.Today I wanted to see if I could duplicate the behavior. View 3 Replies View Relatedmy incredible reboots randomly, first noticed one while on a phone call with my dad. It was over bluetooth in car with navigation & gps on. It rebooted mid conversation. I was on 95 in baltimore with 4 bars and 3g. Everything since has been while listening to slacker. Either while phone is sitting there or while surffing the web. Once was while listening in the car in philadelphia on 95 no navigation (always 2-3 bars and 3g) and it didn't start crashing until about two weeks ago. Every crash has been while plugged into a charger also. I haven't noticed any crashes off charger.

This phone is now starting this same thing like my Evo number 1 was doing and about at the same two weeks in its in service time frame. I'm getting a weird "soft reboot." That's the only way I can explain it. My phone freezes, and then reboots. The weird thing is that in the about phone it will have a continuous up-time. For example it would say up-time: 4h 36m when it froze and rebooted 5 minutes ago.
The other weird thing is that at 1.1Ghz, I can do a 20 minute stress test with zero problems. But a couple minutes later while unlocking my phone or texting it reboots.
It isn't just this ROM or just being overclocked either. I've always had this problem with 2.2. I turned off overclocking, and I've been going strong for about 10 minutes but I doubt it will last.
Did the stock voltages change between 2.1 and 2.2? Is it possible that my phone just sucks and can't handle the new voltages?
I installed the vibrant4 ROM, and everything ran great.

I decided to upgrade to the vibrant 9 rom... the phone works except if i plug in the USB... it reboots and the battery charger attempts to charge then 1sec later it reboots again, and again and again.
I want to connect this to USB so I can use Odin and restore the original ROM. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice?
I am on call this weekend - was talking to a patient when all of a sudden the call cuts off. (no land line, so i have to use my eris on call) -- I push the trackball to light up the screen and nothing happens. Then a few seconds later the bootup screen starts (where it says 'HTC - quietly brilliant). The phone was fully charged...anybody ever have this happen to them? I rely on this phone to reach patients and other doctors...am not happy about this.
